Momma Puffy>>>

"Momma?" Dream waddles into the guest bedroom, making sure to carefully knock beforehand.

"Hey duckling, what's up?" Puffy asks, looking up from her phone. She notices the adorable puppy pajamas and socks he's wearing and the paci that's clipped onto his shirt and can't help but coo at the little.

The pacifier is one Puffy had personally ordered him. It's brown and decorated with various brown, white, and black rhinestones. The handle says 'Puppy' and it has a paw keychain on it. The centerpiece is a puppy, a brown lab specifically, napping.

Dream had said that he was capable of buying his own pacifiers and that she shouldn't worry about it but she insisted on buying it for him, said it was a gift. She still remembers the blond opening it on call with her and thanking her about fifty times.

Puffy smiles at him, already standing up from the bed. "Do you need something?" She asks.

"Can- can have stawbewy milk?" Dream asks politely, rocking back and forth on his feet.

"Of course bubs, c'mon." She holds her hand out for the little who grabs it immediately.

On the way to the kitchen, they bump into Sam in the hall. "Hey, Sam." Puffy greets, Dream simply blinks at him with big green eyes.

"Hey puffy, hi baby Dream." Sam greets the two. "Where're you guys off to?" He asks.

"The kitchen, Dream wants some milk." Puffy laughs a bit when Dream hides behind her shyly. "Wanna join us?" Puffy asks.

Sam agrees and they continue on their journey.

Sam and Puffy begin a conversation, one that Dream is far too small and sleepy to listen to. The little is far more invested in his soft puppy pattern socks than whatever the adults are talking about.

"Dreamy, watch where you're going." Puffy chides softly, making the boy look up from his feet.

"Look momma- puppies!" Dream says, pointing to the various puppies on his socks. Puffy smiles gently. "They're on your jammies too, love." Puffy holds up his arm to show him his sleeve and Dream gasps with delight as if he's just noticed something completly new.

"I don't know how he didn't notice earlier." Puffy laughs to Sam, who shakes his head with a amused smile. "Just like a little kid." He says with a small laugh.

"Dis one's brown, an' dis ones yellow, an' dis ones white." Dream murmurs to himself, looking at all the different puppies. They all have different fur coats!

Puffy leads him into the living room, making sure that he doesn't trip on anything and pulling him along by his hand.

"Sit here bud, I'll be right back with your milk." Puffy sits him down on the couch and leaves to make the milk.

Dream hears a small laugh and glances up from the dogs on his shirt, seeing Sylvee sitting on the couch with him.

"Whatcha doing, Dreamy?" She asks, seeming genuinely interested. Dream loves when people are interested in what he's talking about. "Look! Puppies!" He says excitedly, showing the girl the puppies on his pajamas and socks and even the one sleeping on his paci with a hushed "Gotta be quiet, he's nappin'."

"They're all so cute!" Sylvee says, encouraging Dream to continue talking. He shows her all the different types of dogs, his favorite being the 'yellow' one.

"I think my favorite is the brown lab, they're very cute." Sylvee says, when asked which was her favorite. Dream wants to know which one that is and, much to his delight, finds out that it's the one on his pacifier.

Sylvee tells Dream all the breed names of the dogs on his clothes in a matter of minutes.

"Golden 'triever." Dream says, pointing to the yellow dog. That one is his favorite.

"Yeah, that's your favorite,  right?" Sylvee asks, and Dream nods happily. He loves when people listen when he speaks!

"Well he acts like one so.." Dream jumps and turns to see George standing behind him. Dream huffs, puffing his cheeks out and pretending to be offended at the comment.

"Lighten up, you said that they're cute." George says, ruffling Dreams hair as he speaks. "Stopp." Dream mumbles half heartedly, shaking his head to get George off.

"Aw, George, leave him alone." Dream brightens at the sound of Sapnaps voice. "Sappy." Dream turns to find Sapnap and spots him by the kitchen doorway.

Dream watches as his best friends start a argument over who Dream likes more, not noticing Puffy until she's right next to him.

"You like me best, don't you dreamy? I won't tell, don't worry." She whispers, making Dream laugh quietly.

Puffy shakes the bottle in her hand and Dream brightens up instantly.

When he's handed the bottle, he relaxes against the couch and begins drinking slowly.

He reaches out for Puffy, who sits next to him in response, and he puts his head on her shoulder.

"Boys, stop arguing." Puffy calls, making the pair stop instantly.

Sylvee grabs the remote and turns on the tv. "Me and Dream were talking about puppies." She informs Puffy, who chuckles in response. "Yeah? He loves them." Puffy says.

"Maybe we should get a dog." Sapnap speaks up. George groans loudly. They've had this conversation before too many times already.

"You know why we can't get a dog. Besides, Patches is way better. And she's self cleaning." George says back, staring at Sapnap with a look that just screams 'idiot'.

"You're always defending her." Sapnap rolls his eyes. "Maybe because she's never done anything wrong." George shoots back, always quick to defend Patches.

Dream is simply watching the two. Most of the words sound like gibberish to him but he's mostly paying attention to their face expressions.

"Boys, enough." Puffy scolds lightly. George huffs but stops talking regardless.

Sylvee scrolls through kid shows before finding paw patrol and clicking on it.

The theme song begins playing and Dream is instantly captivated in the show, watching with so much focus that Puffy can't help the fond laugh that escapes her.

George and Sapnap settle onto the couch with Sapnap leaning on Georges shoulder, showing that despite their constant arguments they're never actually mad at each other.

Dream hands his empty bottle to Puffy who sets it on the coffee table. The little curls up into a ball, leaning against Puffys side and sighing contently.

"Are you sleepy pup?" Puffy coos, smiling softly at him. Dream nodded sluggishly.

Puffy hums and rests her head on Dreams.

The blond refocuses on the show, the bright colors and childish dialog appealing to his small mind.

Nobody talks after that and when Dream eventually dozes off, it's in comfortable silence.

A/N: Sorry for the anticlimactic ending I ran out of ideas lol, I just really wanted to include snf bantering and little Dreams obsession with puppies -T☆
