They stopped at intervals to breathe air.

They were still in the hotel, or rather they were hiding in the corridor which led to the large kitchen. Taking a few seconds to put on their shoes and jackets, looking at each other once more, they heard a loud commotion echoing in the lobby of the hotel. It was a clear sign that there was no rest for them. They had to run.

Various thoughts torture Jungkook's head, but he lazily escaped them, not allowing all his senses to remain intoxicated by the fear and trembling that Muhammad caused. After several collisions with the kitchen workers and even more apologies, the men finally went out on the road.

- Jungkook, where now?! - Tae whispered loud. The younger one looked at him with some apprehension, quickly summoning a map of the city in his mind.

- There! - the man led along a hard and stoned road. That road gently led into the hills, from where a panoramic view of the orange facades of this city was offered.

Taehyung didn't know if that was a good idea. If he had wondered, he probably would have hid in the narrow streets, behind dilapidated buildings, at least until morning, but he still followed Jungkook and trusted his instinct.

As they raced to their freedom, Jungkook felt for a moment in his coat pockets and saw that he hadn't brought anything with him. Not even a mobile phone, which he would welcome now more than ever.

Every step taken was a step towards their goal, towards their happiness, and Jungkook would be lying if he said he hadn't thought about how it would be when he finally decided to leave this place and his house. Everything seemed to him like a dream.

The little time he had left in that city, he focused his thoughts on thinking about the thousand beautiful moments he spent there. Those memories were full of some bitter anxiety and strained expectation, but also sweet hope that it would end exactly as he wanted.

Ready to continue their run, with panting bodies and flushed cheeks from the sticky cool night air, they suddenly turned behind them when they heard a car horn. For a moment Taehyung's heart fluttered, and he was more than ready to fight for Jungkook until his last breath. He clenched his fists, and with wide eyes he stopped for a moment, while unconsciously pushing the younger man behind him.

But Jungkook could recognize the car very well.

- Ali! - he exclaimed as he grabbed Taehyung's hand and pulled him towards the parked car without any explanation. There was no time for that. The police were on their heels. In that peaceful night they could hear a quiet muttering rotations which were behind them.

A change was felt in the weather itself, a storm in the very air that could make them stir up their own thoughts.

Jungkook settled into the passenger seat while Taehyung quickly closed the back door of the gray car. He remained in shock when he looked at who else was in the car with Ali. That made no sense, no explanation.

- Marissa? What are you doing here? - he whispered quietly, already aware that Ali had started to drive. Jungkook also looked back in shock as he adjusted his seat belt.

- Tae, oh God! Thank God you made it! I called Ali, I found his number in Jungkook's phone, sorry for that. - the woman looked at the younger man who was still looking at her without blinking as if she were some kind of ghost.

Taehyung looked under her legs and noticed a bag. Marissa caught his eye and continued immediately.

- I went to your hotel room when the police left and quickly packed some of your stuff and your passports. You don't have to go back to the hotel anymore, you have to run away. And yes, before you ask me about Tannie, he is safe. I left him with Ali's brother and his children, when Ali borrowed his brother's car, because Muhammad knows Jungkook's car... - the woman was interrupted mid-sentence, Taehyung wrapped both arms around her petite frame and pulled her into a hug.
