Forever

Chapter 6

It was a few days before Christmas and the three girls made their way to their airport for their flight to Dublin. Katie was notorious for falling asleep on planes and did so almost as soon as it took off. Caitlin grinned down at her sleeping girlfriend who was leaning on her shoulder. Caitlin played on her phone a bit before looking across the aisle to see Bailey staring out the window with a few silent tears falling down her face.  Quickly wiping them away she went back to reading her book. Completely unaware that Caitlin had seen what happened. 
Caitlin couldn't get up right now because there wasn't an open seat next to her sister so she would just have to bring it up later. But she kept taking glances like every five seconds at Bailey. Eventually her sister gave her a glare that she was annoyed by constantly being looked at and went back to reading again before Caitlin could mouth anything to her.

When the plane finally landed the girls got off and were quickly greeted by Katie's mom picking them up at the airport. They were updated on all of the holiday plans and what all of Katie's siblings were up to. Caitlin and Bailey had met most of Katie's family throughout the years just from Arsenal games. But this would be the first time Caitlin would see most of them again as being Katie's girlfriend now.
Bailey on the other hand had always gotten along with Katie's younger siblings so she was excited to hang out with them again.
They got in pretty late that night so went right to bed. Since there were so many people in the house they had to cram a lot of people in one room. Katie and Caitlin shared a bed on the bottom of a bunk bed and Bailey had the hop bunk. Two of Katie's youngest sisters Ella and Lauryn shared the other bottom bunk on the other side of the room. And the third younger sister of Katie, Jade shared that top bunk.
As soon as the lights went out Katie and Caitlin kissed each other goodnight. It was just a goodnight kiss nothing more. But the reaction from all four of the siblings in the room was enough to wake the whole house up.
"I swear to God Katie."
"Seriously?!"
"We are right here!"
"I will run out of this house so quickly if you continue"
They all screamed out in unison.
"God I thought one little sister was bad." Caitlin joked.
"Bailey is an angel compared to these three. Now everyone shut up. I'm going to kiss my girlfriend goodnight again. And if anyone says anything I will spill every secret I have on you. Bailey I'm sure Caitlin can dig something up for you to share to the room. Got it?"
The silence was evident that everyone understood and Katie smiled as she kissed Caitlin goodnight a little louder this time.

The next day everyone in the family hung out and played board games. There was a moment Caitlin noticed Bailey going upstairs to go to the bathroom and quickly followed her up and pushed her into their bed room.
"Um can I help you? I have to pee."
"I saw you crying on the plane yesterday. Care to explain?"
Bailey got shy all of the sudden. "I uh had a stupid Snapchat memory from high school. Of the four of us. It was some early Christmas party. It was just a pic of all us smiling and then a video one of you jumping on my back and mom and dad telling you not to hurt me cause I had a game coming up. I just. Idk. Holidays are hard. Mom loved Christmas you know."
"Holidays are hard for me too. I'm glad you are here with me. I wouldn't have come if you didn't. You are always going to be the first person I want to spend the holidays with. Got it?"
"Yeah I got it" Bailey leaned into Caitlin's hug then finally turned to head out to the bathroom.

Katie came in a few minutes later to see Caitlin on her bed.
"You okay?"
"Oh yeah all good just talked to Bailey. She was a little sad yesterday but all good now. And then I just decided to take a 15 min nap."
"Well take your nap because you are going on a hot date tonight"
"A hot date? With who?" Caitlin joked back.
"Shut up. You got an hour to get ready wear something nice."

Baileys Pov

I made my way downstairs to see Ella and Jade and sat with them.
"So the neighbors are having a party tonight. Our love bird sisters are going on a date. So you wanna come with us to have some fun?"
"Count me in!"
"Can I come?" Lauryn asked clearly eavesdropping
"No you're too young still." Jade responded
"Ugh that's so unfair!" Lauryn yelled as she stormed off.
"You know I was her age when I went to my first party right?" Ella said
"Yeah I was too" I chimed in.
"Think we should let her then? I mean at least we will be there."
"Its Christmas let's let her have some fun"
Jade Ella and I found Lauryn who was sulking on the couch.
"You can come with us. But only one drink max. You have to be one of the three of us at all times. Got it?"
"Yes! Thank you!" She said as she gave her two sisters a hug.
We all laughed as we went up to the room to get changed. I smiled for a moment as I saw how pretty Caitlin looked for her date. She looked just like our mom honestly. And it made me happy.
"You look great Cait" I said honestly as she made her way downstairs.
"Thanks Bales. Now you girls stay out of trouble yeah?"
"No promises!" I yelled
After getting dressed and some pregaming we made our way down the street to their neighbors house.
"The O'Connell family has three boys all around me you and Jades age." Ella said. "They have a party every year before Christmas and they are usually ragers."
As they stepped into the party Jade went to get drinks and dragged Lauryn with her so she wouldn't run off. Ella and I went off to meet the hosts brothers Luke, Drew, and Justin.
Luke had his arm around a girl and Justin was a little young looking. But Drew. Drew made me forget to close my mouth so I wasn't drooling. I haven't stared at a guy since Ryan and I ended. We all talked for a bit and then Ella and I went to grab a drink.
"So you think Drew is hot?"
"I mean dont you? But was I that obvious?"
"He's attractive for sure but he's like a brother. I grew up with him ya know. But no I don't think he noticed over how hard he was drooling over you too."
"Really??"
But before Ella could answer he came back over.
"Hey Bailey right? Let me get you a better drink then what he have out here." And he extended his hand to lead me away.
I glanced back at Ella who smiled and nodded and then I turned back to Drew. He led me to a back room and poured me a cocktail from a much better selection of alcohol. We got to talking about what we did,where we are from. All that. I smiled when he said he actually works in London as of a few months ago. We talked for so long but eventually made our way back to the party to start dancing. The music was loud. People were drunk. I was drunk. But I swayed to the music and leaned into his touch. His hand came up to my chin and pointed it up towards his face. We stared at each other a moment before kissing. It was amazing. I wanted it to last forever. But all good things come to end and I was quickly pulled away by Ella who said we needed to go now.
"Why what's wrong?"
"I thought Lauryn was with Jade. She thought she was with me. Anyways Laur got drunk. We gotta go."
"Shit okay. Bye Drew it was really nice to meet you." I said as I rushed out the door to see Jade holding a drunk Lauryn up by her waist.
"Mom and dad are going to kill us."
"No we aren't going to let them find out."
"I don't feel good"
Jade and Ella clearly were good with throw up because as soon as Lauryn leaned over a bush they didn't help at all so I went over to hold her hair and rub her back. Eventually she felt a lot better and made her way back to the house walking a little straighter.
"Go straight up to the room Lauryn. Don't let mom or dad see you okay."
"Okay"
As soon as we opened the front door all four of all tried to sneak right up to the room and somehow managed to get there unseen. Definitely not unheard because Lauryn hit two walls on her way up. But we made it. Ella helped her drunk sister change and get into bed. Bringing her water and medicine but Lauryn had already passed out by the time she got back and we all laughed.
The three of us changed and laughed about the night.
"Ohhh Bailey guess who texted me asking for your number"Ella smirked
"Wait really?!"
"Yeah he said he will text you tomorrow."
I went to bed with a smile on my face. Well I was almost asleep. Until I heard the two out on a date finally make it home. Clearly drunker than Lauryn.
"Do you think they'll hear us tonight?" Drunk Katie asked way too loudly
"YES!" Everyone but Lauryn responded with.
Caitlin laughed and looked at me in the top bunk smiling her toothy smile before laying down in her bed and cuddling into Katie. Both foord girls went to bed happy that night.
