They trained for hours on end and only stopped for food. Lin took out her frying pan and cooked them both a decent meal. "Thank you Lin. Where did you learn to cook?" He asked. "My parents taught me. I could teach you if you like. As payment for the training." She said. "No no. There's no need for that." He says shaking his hands. "It's only fair. Equivalent exchange. I feel as if I owe you. And I like to repay my debts." She explained. The general thought this to be odd but he didn't say no. So they exchanged training for cooking lessons. This would help them both to relax after all the hard work.

"It's time for you to go to the order." General yegaar said to her. He drew her a map and then sent her on her way. She hopped onto a train and took a seat. She pulled out her deck of cards and began to play clock patience. She finished in a matter of minutes. A few men approached her and asked if she would play a game with them. She contemplated the offer. She agreed and asked what they would be playing. "We're going to play poker." He said. She sat down at the other side of the table. She was dealt a pretty decent hand. But she could tell that they all had good hands. She pulled out two cards and placed them onto the table. She reached forward for the deck and only touched the top of it. She drew her hand away and placed two cards into her hand. The dealer shouted 'call' and she laid out her hand. "Royal flush." She said with an innocent smile. They all took off their shirts and put them under the table. She pulled them out and put them next to her.

After five rounds, she had only lost her shirt due to a stupid mistake. She took it back from them and gave them their clothes back. She took the deck and sorted through it. She collected the cards from her deck and returned to her seat on the train. The train stopped at her station and she got off. She followed the map and reached the order. She climbed up the mountain and stood outside the door. She saw a stone face on the wall. It scanned her and then yelled out 'akuma' at the top of its lungs. "I'm not an akuma! I got burnt when I was young. I'm not an akuma!" She cried out. A sword flew past her face. She froze. "Eep." She said. She lost her cool. "Hey you idiot! You could've killed me. You don't just throw swords at people!" She shouted. He took no notice of her. He just stared at her. "I was sent here by general yegaar. I'm his apprentice, Lin Curtis." She said. The door opened and she walked in. There was a girl waiting for her. "Hi, my name is Leenalee. Welcome to the black order." She said. She smiled at Lin which made her feel at ease. "I'm Lin. Nice to meet you."

Leenalee showed her around the order and took her to meet jer brother Komui. He asked her what part channelled her innocence. She asked for a knife. She drew blood and formed a small ball with it. She gave it to Komui to test. He saw her blood was pure innocence. She was then taken to see the elders. She was hoisted up by an alien looking creature. This hold felt strange, familiar. "Welcome back Lin. We've been awaiting your return." It said. "Thank you. It's good to be back?" She said. The elders told her about her powers. She took in all of their knowledge. She was then shown to the dining area. She ordered enough food to stuff a horse. Everyone gave her space as they saw she was still bleeding. A finder tapped her on the shoulder and told her she was bleeding. She ripped a few centimetres off of her leggings and wrapped the cloth around her cut. The bleeding stopped and she removed her make shift bandage.

She made her way to her room. Whilst walking towards the door, she heard faint singing. She followed the song and tracked it to a room. She sat outside the room listening to the melody. She sung a melody back to the sound. They replied with another melody. They made a musical conversation using melodies. Lin started to feel tired and sung a farewell melody. She went to her room and collapsed on the bed. She slept for a few hours until she woke up. She tried to get back to sleep but she kept waking up.

On the fifth attempt, she got up and went to go to the kitchens. She snuck in and made her famous chocolate caramel cake. She pulled it out of the oven and left it to cool as she got started on the caramel sauce that goes with it. She put in a splash of her secret sauce and it was ready. She cut the cake and went to leave when she heard that people were awake in the science department. She went around and gave them all cake. But then, she felt a shafow behind her. It was Komui. She handed over a slice. "Why are you awake at this hour?" He asks. "I'm having trouble sleeping and I got bored, so I mafe cake for everyone. Whay do you think?" She asked. Komui took a bite out of his slice and cried out: "this is the most delicious cake I've ever had!" She walked away happy. She went back to the kitchens to clean up. She knew she would be in trouble if it was messy. She put everything back the way she found it and went to her room. She decided to draw. Drawing helped her to come to terms with things and she needed to for this one. This was the biggest change in her life.
