A floating taxi stopped in front of a huge apartment complex.

"The cost of your ride is 400 Jules." A machine voice from the taxi said.

"Teleportation pods would have been a good idea. when you're sitting in a vehicle that someone is operating from another location. You don't feel safe." With that, Macc got out of the taxi.

"Travelling in pods is more expensive than taxis, and no operator wants to drive a taxi alone if they can operate it remotely." Shiva said as he paid the charge with his wristband.

When Shiva and Macc got to Vaibhav's apartment on the 108th floor of the building, they were shocked to see that there were police officers everywhere.

"How? and why is the police here?" Shiva was surprised to see so many police officers in the area. "Every check has already been completed."

"I'm not sure. Let me check." Macc entered the apartment.

"Look who's arrived." Shiva heard a familiar voice ask him from inside.

Shiva recognized him even before he appeared.

"Jack. Now I know how Macc passed all of his recruitment tests." Shiva said, clenching his teeth. "It's not a coincidence that you're here; I know you."

Jack answered with a demonic smile, "So, you're envious of me, who is better than you."

"What exactly are you doing here?" Shiva asked, trying to sound normal.

Shiva was burning from the inside out. I want to punch you every time I see you.

"Investigation. Have you forgotten? I am the investigation's official detective," said Jack.

"Have you not already investigated in this area?"

"I finally found the death girl soul, which is what I was looking for from the beginning. And I'm waiting on a psychic right now." Jack hurried up to join Maya, who had just shown up with a psychiatrist. "I'm waiting for Madam Mia and you, Captain."

"Mr. Shiva, I wasn't expecting to see you here." Psychiatrist Mia stated who was Shiva's mental examiner. "Have you been given your job back?"

"He works as a private detective." Maya said, "Mr. Mayor hired him."

"I get it." Mia spoke from behind as she entered the apartment. "And don't forget your next mental examination schedule."

"You don't need to worry," Shiva shouted. "May I speak with you for a moment? Captain.

Shiva halted Maya.

"Doctor. You go ahead, and I'll see you later." Maya said to Mia.

Shiva gestured to a corner far from the crowd.

"What?" Maya inquired.

"Your man, Macc. He is sharing my investigation's details with your detective." Shiva pointed to Jack, who was busy interacting with Mia.

"Hello. You're making serious allegations."

"I wouldn't have told you if I wasn't certain. I decided to look into the possibility of souls having memories shortly after we learned about it. Jack discovered it immediately. There can be no coincidence here; Macc has always been by my side." Shiva spoke quietly so that nobody could hear him.

"Jack is an experienced senior. I wouldn't be surprised if he discovered the soul of a dead girl." Maya disagreed with Shiva.

"I can't believe I asked Macc to look into it. Captain, I assure you that Macc is informing Jack."
