"Will you tell me, what about?" The pregnant woman wrapped her coat tighter around her, while trying to hide under his arm so nobody could figure out her condition.

Voldemort sighed and placed his pale hand on her shoulder, then they started walking into the direction he chose.

"I can't capture why you, my most loyal, most devoted, most eager death eater, can be almost as emotionless as I am, yet you 'are' capable of loving and feeling and obviously you also feel the usual instincts a soon-to-be mother should have. Nonetheless you like torturing muggle children and feel no regret or compassion at all. How do you differ?" The tall wizard demanded to know.

Bellatrix shrugged.

"Tell me, my lord, my heart, does a hunter pity the deer he shoots, so his family can eat? Does a butcher feel bad for the slaughtering he does, so he can sell the meat and earn a living? That's what those muggles are. Animals, inferior creatures, like house-elves and goblins. They understand enough to have them work for us, but that still doesn't mean we have to treat them equally. And I never thought I was the motherly type either. I am just as thunderstruck about that as you are, my lord. I certainly wouldn't feel the same if it was my husband's!" She tried to explain.

Voldemort nodded.

"I see. But the whole situation made me curious. We will have to do a few experiments on that, but for now, let's visit my favourite author when I was eleven and an old friend of Albus Dumbledore. Bathilda Bagshot!"

Bellatrix gasped in anticipation.

"Oh my, you're about to kill her to do something very sinister, right? May I ask...?"

"You may, as we're already here. Nagini?" He called out, being answered with a hissing tone.

"Are there any spells to protect the house or can we just go in?" Voldemort asked her in Parseltongue.

Nagini informed him.

"This old bat is so nuts, she can be happy to find her way back home every time!"

Bellatrix laughed out loudly at that statement. Then she slapped her hands to her mouth, realising that she had understood the snake.

The dark lord himself gave her a bewildered look.

"Did you just...?"

"Understand her? I did!"

Nagini hissed angrily, then slithered towards the entrance door.

Voldemort laughed.

"No need to be like this, my dear. Bellatrix is carrying my child, my daughter. Obviously the baby is sharing her abilities with her mother. So don't be jealous. You always knew that Bella is different and special to me."

The pregnant witch gasped. She could already feel her eyes watering and angrily wiped away a single tear.

The dark wizard pulled her closer and pecked the top of her head.

"Let's focus on our job now. Look, there's the gossiping, old slut, fast asleep. Don't give me that look. I hated Dumbledore, but he was a great wizard and she was his friend. The way Skeeter made her tell her things, they would have never worked on someone as loyal as you, my Bella!"

The witch grinned at him with admiration and gratitude.

"Thank you, my heart." She breathed, making Nagini snort. It sounded funny, hearing the hissing and at the same time the words, and made her giggle while they approached the old woman, who was asleep in her bed, further.

"The state of her mind almost makes me pity her enough to grant her a quick and painless death. What about you, my dear? Do you want to release her or rather have some fun with her?"

Bellatrix looked pensive for a moment, then grinned evilly.

"I had almost agreed with that, then i imagined she had betrayed your trust the same way and well, may I have the first shot?"

A vicious smile spread on his face and gave him an even more sinister look.

"As you wish, my Lady!"

Without hesitation, Bellatrix exclaimed.

"Petrificus totalus!"

By that disabling her ability to move completely before she took another step to the now petrified seeming body.

"Don't cause any visible harm. We need her shell for the plan! Nagini will perform a very old and very dark magic to use her skin or rather her complete outer form to become Bathilda. From the outside at least. But for now, have fun!" Voldemort told her before she could raise her wand again.

With narrowed eyes, the female now pointed it at her and instead of the curse she had wanted to use, the one, sixteen year old Severus had once created, she only thought.

"Crucio!"

Instantly the hag groaned in agony, yet the previous curse kept her from reacting in any other way. Bellatrix was beaming.

"That's even better than just using the Cruciatus." She blurted out blissfully.

Watching her thrive on the high of using Legilimency to watch the woman's agony, made him hard and he wanted her right then and there. And he wasn't exactly fond of waiting for much longer, so he spoke hoarsely into her ear.

"Bella!"

She winced thinking she had done something wrong, when he stepped closer again and placed her hand on his crotch.

"Seeing you like this, my dearest Bellatrix, had an instant effect on me. And even though I would like to grant you more time to fulfil your urges, I want you to come to an end, so we can leave soon and tend to my own needs." He explained calmly.

The witch turned her head towards him shortly, the sparkling of her eyes capturing his, as she agreed right away.

"Everything for you, my heart!"

Looking back at the old hag, she felt a high of emotions when she knew what she was about to do. Bella lifted her wand and was about to send the killing curse towards her heart, when Nagini interfered and hissed.

"Don't. Something's wrong. Her twisted mind had her come out of the curse and she is waiting to attack. Just leave, I can handle her!"
