-Half an hour ago-
"Hey Huening!" Yeonjun's voice rasped through the speaker and the mentioned ravenette immediately switched off the speaker.
"Yeah? Something wrong? You sound somewhat different."
"Gyu. Beomgyu."
"Yeah he was pretty mad at you at school. You should've told him bud that you would skip school today."
"Well, damn. Didn't do it intentionally. I was chatting with y'all last night ever so happily and forgot that I had debate competition today."
"You could've at least send a text to him."
"My phone was charged out since morning. Did I screw up too much?"
"Well, I heard him whispering to Tae that he was kinda regretting agreeing on a date with an ass like you. But Tae just smacked his head and shushed him."
Chuckling, Yeonjun responded. "Tae owes me one, hehe. By the way, is that one candle shop across your house is still open?"
"Yuppo, it is. Why? Are you planning something?"
"I could give you the details later. But for now, you gonna buy me a dozen of those casual, blue and tall candles and bring them over here."
"Why don't you-" And Huening's words were cut off.
"Bring the things over here. I know you're not busy. Saw you active on discord just minutes ago. Anyways, I'll hand you the money with the thingies."
"Okay, but-"
"BE QUICK! YOU'VE GOT JUST FIFTEEN MINUTES!" The older snapped and hung up.
Huening on the other end was sort of confused. Wiggling his brows with a shrug, he just started doing as he was told so. Not even Hitler himself could get the words out of Yeonjun, when the pink-head didn't want to spill them himself.

-Back to present-
Beomgyu grabbed the key of his father's car and walked to the garage where the transport was parked. He got inside and with heavy confusion and sly mixture of anger with it, he started driving to Yeonjun's.
He was dressed in a white silk shirt which was tugged inside his perfectly-fitted, plain black pants. The male hadn't used any cosmetics or something and just rubbed some vaseline on his lips. But, nevertheless, he radiated the ravishingly fine hue as always.
He himself didn't know why he agreed to sneak out of the house and go over to his date's. His heart clenched a little at Yeonjun's neglecting behaviour and even that was unconsciously, he did seek for a damn explanation from the older.
The drive wasn't long and surely took shorter than going with the bicycle and soon Beomgyu found himself standing in front of Yeonjun's house, battling with himself if he should ring the bell or not.
But, unfortunately he didn't know, the pink-head male had already took notice of Beomgyu's car entering the driveway. He was just on the other side of the door, waiting when the other would ring the bell and he would swing the door open. And as a few minutes passed but still nothing had happened, Yeonjun took the mighty charge on himself and opened the door.
"Come in!" He cheered with a wide grin, eyes crinkled into cresent moons.
"No hi no hello?" Beomgyu asked with a blank stare and pushed the older slightly to make his way inside.
But there was no response. Frowning, the walnut-head looked back to Yeonjun and his heart almost choked on the blood and started thumping wildly when he spotted the older staring at him with wide, adoring eyes.
Yeonjun had his hand on the door in order to close it, but the thing still wasn't shut as the boy just glared at his date with wonder. Beomgyu looked away, not being able to stand the hella intense gaze. A faint red tint took over his nonchalant face as he closed the door with an intentionally made noise.
The sound snapped Yeonjun back to earth and he flashed a cheesy smile, rubbing the back of his head with embarrassment. "Sorry. Let's get you upstairs." He spoke quickly and started leading the way to his room, escaping the awkward situation.
Beomgyu had been here only once, the time when he and Yeonjun had been paired up to do some project. And the place had the same warmly feeling, smelled in the same homely way.
An unknown curve of smile mad its way to his lips as he followed Yeonjun to his room. The door to that was shut, and the walnut-head wondered why was it.
And that was when the hilarious yet not funny fact hit him. Shouldn't he feel at least this little awkward with Yeonjun? But, instead he was feeling much more domestic and free around the older. A feeling of comfort spun in his head. Something inside him screamed that he could hand his heart to Yeonjun's hands, and the fragile thing would be healed, or at least not broken.
"Lost somewhere?" Yeonjun's gentle question broke into the younger's trail of thoughts.
"Nope, I'm fine." He reassured but the pink-head didn't really look convinced.
"Let's get you in." Beomgyu felt there was nervousness emerged with Yeonjun's voice, but then just brushed it off.
The younger boy watched as the other's hand grabbed the doorknob, twisting it and applying force on it to open. It took only ten seconds but Beomgyu felt as if it had been a whole decade.
And his eyes fluttered roundly open when he looked through the open entrance inside the older's room. His breathe hitched momentarily, heart beating so madly as if it was just this away from getting itself exploded.
The room was gorgeously decorated with beautiful blue candles. The vermilion shaded hue they radiated played the most perfect game of lights and shadows. There was a table at the middle of the room, two chairs by its each side. There was a few plates filled with foods, placed oh-so-carefully on it. And if Beomgyu was to be honest and frank, his rage toward Yeonjun had disappeared at the moment he glanced at the mesmerisingly decorated place.
It was just like a dream. A dream... a good one. He had been living in such a nightmare and been having so much of them that he had kind of forgot that good dreams did exist. He could feel teardrops of gratefulness at the bottom of his eyes, ready to roll down any moment.
"I'm sorry." It was a breathy whisper from Yeonjun, that told him, nothing of these were dreams.
Beomgyu wasn't in his senses anymore. He glanced at the other and just engulfed him in a breath-hitching embrace. Eyes shut down with euphoria, his hands rested on Yeonjun's back. His head nuzzled inside the crook of the older's neck, felt so.....so right, so true...
Yeonjun was starstruck for a moment but responded rapidly. One hand placed softly on the younger's fluffy walnut-shaded locks, another hand drew smooth gentle circles on his back. He was afraid of Beomgyu taking notice of his heart, which thumped crazily inside his chest, racing with all the strength left in it. A wave of euphoria blew through every single vein of his body, making him the happiest person of the universe momentarily.
"I li-" He started whispering out when the younger pulled away.
Realization hitting him hard, Beomgyu was shocked once again about what he had done. "I'm sorry...for the hug." He uttered out merely.
Yeonjun chose not to continue his previous sentence. "It's fine...I liked it." He cheesily blurted.
Beomgyu blushed pinkly, scratching his nape in embarrassment as he glanced away examining the wall.
Yeonjun released a small breathe he had been holding. "Let's get inside. Shall we?"
The younger just nodded swiftly with silence, following behind the older.
