*7 years fast forward*

Yeonjun, was now twenty-six, a sexy orange-haired male with broad shoulders, and a buff build. He worked as a cartoonist at a studio. Soobin, who was now twenty-six- as well, was a voice artist at the same place, therefore, Yeonjun's colleague. Beomgyu was an attractive, longish-haired, twenty-six-year-old ravenette, who had just returned from the U.S. after pursuing his post-graduation in Microbiology for two years. Jungkook, who had his blonde hair dyed to blazing violet, was twenty-seven, and an active and famous actor in Korean TV series. Taehyun, now a twenty-five-year-old fine ravenette, after having graduated high school had developed a sudden passion for cameras and was now a part-time photographer besides handling their family business. Huening, who was now a mint-haired gorgeous man (on Beomgyu's insistence), was a well-known psychiatrist.

After having graduated high school, Yeonjun and Beomgyu started living together, which continued for five years straight. But for the last two years, the two had been distant from each other (as one had been in Seoul and the other in the U.S.), but they still had succeeded in managing their strong bond throughout the ups and downs. Sure there had been times when they had fought over stupid things ("You were seriously out with that Ethan guy instead of giving me time!?" "Fuck you, you bastard!") and they had been unable to give their partner the proper amount of attention and time because of stress, workload, and exhaustion, but their love had always been more reckless than that.

It had won over and over again, over the fights, the heated-up arguments, and even in that time when the two were an inch away from ending things ("I fucking hate you, Choi Yeonjun!" "What makes you think I wanna be with you either!?") with each other. At the end of the day, both knew they were bound to return to their better half, as without that, they were just incomplete and as mere as a sandcastle.

Soobin and Huening were already delightfully married to each other. Soobin had proposed to Huening in their last year of university, in front of the whole campus, and without a second thought, Huening had accepted that, choked with tears. Their wedding happened with full consent from both of their mothers.

Yes, fortunately, Mrs. Choi had realized that Soobin was her own son, and there wasn't a way left anymore for him to change, not when he already had had a boyfriend and had been intending on proposing to him. Mr. Choi, although, had passed away from a heart attack whilst his son had been still in the second year of university. And he had never after that day even spoken to Soobin after the boy had left his residence. However, while Soobin and his mother had gone through the after-death rituals of his father, Mrs. Choi had had her biggest epiphany.

Taehyun and Jungkook were fiancés. The toxicity they used to have in between them in high school had gradually disappeared as both the men had matured. Jungkook's mother was now fond of her soon-to-be son-in-law, whereas Taehyun's father, Ben, matched vibes with his soon-to-be son-in-law. You would often catch Jungkook having a gossip with Ben as though they were best friends or something, and Jungkook's mother would often invite them over to feed them her greasy cooking which Taehyun so ridiculously was in love with. Also, whenever any new series of Jungkook would air, you would often find the parents (Jungkook's mother and Taehyun's both fathers, but specifically Ben) sitting down to watch those together.

However, Taehyun and Jungkook, although spent the whole day bantering over who was going to take whose last name, what color the wedding theme was going to be ("Violet!" "Ew, baby blue looks better!"), and who was going to hold the bouquet ("I'm not gonna be the fucking bride, Taehyun!" "Except, you are my bride, baby."). Although, their these types of bickering were actually useless. It was pretty clear by the way Jungkook excitedly tagged along every time Beomgyu and Huening had a 'bottom to bottom' talk (the way the two liked to describe their hang-outs or long ass phone calls).
