To Taehyun, it was always better to drown himself in his study that'd help him prosper in life than drowning himself in dreadful agony and thinking about Jungkook. So, pushing the severe hurt out of his head, he focused on his studies.

A lot had happened in the last couple of days. The day after which Taehyun had got himself passed out in that bar, their six members' group split apart. The reason was Taehyun despising Jungkook, like the blonde didn't even exist.

Jungkook had shared about Taehyun's confession with Yeonjun, Huening and Soobin on that very night while the three had walked him home. At some point through Jungkook's rambles about how Taehyun was just messing around, Huening had interrupted, pointing it out that just like Jungkook had different view of things, Taehyun might have had his reasons too for leaving Jungkook like that right after he had uttered those three words.

Just one sentence it was in the defense of Taehyun and Jungkook entitled his brother as a traitor. And since the last few days, Beomgyu and Huening had been sticking around Taehyun (as Beomgyu had stayed over with Taehyun the night everything started and Huening was banned around Jungkook) and Jungkook didn't allow anyone other than Soobin or Yeonjun approaching him.

Their strong friendship was all scattered and messy. Even the two couples were sort of falling apart, although none did blame it all on Jungkook. They just assumed that things better be left on their own and Jungkook eventually would fix it all up. Beomgyu and Yeonjun weren't really struggling as they were already out of the closet and could drop by to see each other any time, or even have sleepovers at school-days. Their staying at one another's house was at a point that Beomgyu had some of his boyfriend's clothes always at his room and vice versa.

The only one having a little trouble to manage his relationship was Huening as he literally shared the same room with Jungkook. Although Jungkook wasn't willing to talk to or room with his brother, of course their mother couldn't know that something had been going on. However, Huening knew would literally give no damn at him if the blonde caught him talking to Soobin. He'd have to face nothing but all that'd go wrong would happen to Soobin. Jungkook would stop interacting with the ravenette as well and Soobin would have to move to Beomgyu's squad too. And even though Huening was desperate to be able to cling to his boyfriend from dawn to dusk just like before, he really wasn't certain if Soobin would appreciate it or not.

So, he and Soobin would just smile at each other while passing by each other, sadness and adoration prominent in every curve of those. They would interact sneaking to the washroom together, dodging Jungkook's eyes. And sometimes Huening would just pop out of the blue at Soobin's place as the vice versa wasn't possible. Also, they'd silently facetime each other from under the blanket, fingers typing insanely fast and texting each other.

Unlike Jungkook, Taehyun wasn't being moody and irrational. He had kept in good terms with all the other, except the blonde eldest. But now that he had witnessed what Jungkook had done after Huening had spoken for him, the peach-head tended to despise Soobin and Yeonjun, occasionally just shooting the two smug smiles when they'd pass by.

Taehyun did have his reasons why he had ignored and been paying no attention to him, even if it backfired on the teen himself and made him bleed. According to Yeonjun's saying to Beomgyu, which the walnut-head had shared with Taehyun later, Jungkook did have the same feelings. Taehyun had been greatly taken aback by that, but he assumed and still thought Jungkook just said it because he pitied Taehyun. Taehyun didn't want sympathy, he hated to be pitied.

If that bastard Jeon did love him, he would have held Taehyun back that night, wouldn't have had let him go that abruptly. Leave alone that moment, Jungkook then might have been way too surprised to process, but after that? It had been days, and still the elder hadn't shown any signs that he wanted to communicate.
