Two weeks slipped away in the blink of an eye and their finals started. Within this period, Taehyun had mended his relationship a lot with Jungkook. He was trying his hardest and the elder had been reciprocating as well.

Since Taehyun's parents had left again after a week they had returned, he and Soobin got back their freedom. Irrelevant words, but these days when Taehyun's Dad would call his son, he would ask him about the ravenette as well (not like he didn't call Soobin and asked him about Taehyun too). Soobin had really somehow turned into Terry and his husband's other son, which was proof that families can still be formed even though people are not connected by blood.

Back on the track, Taehyun had been taking care of Jungkook in every way possible. He bought the blonde lunches, took him out on sudden and comforting dates, and offered to come over and accompany Jungkook in watching anime whenever the elder was distressed from all the studying. He picked him up on weekdays in the morning (always a Soobin and Huening at their feet) and walked him home every evening after school (still Soobin and Huening with them, but at a little distance). All and all, he had been and was still playing his role of an ideal man to win over his lover's heart.

The two weeks the finals went on for were truly hell to the six boys. It was studying like do or die. Each and everyone tried to help whenever someone was stuck at a place during their countless revision sessions. Huening and Beomgyu were the most worn-out ones as they were the two explaining stuff to the others over and over again. The other four constantly apologized for being bothers, but then again, if they couldn't help each other this much in their time of need, how could they be friends indeed?  [author suddenly cackles atp]

And about the couples; none of them could focus on their love lives that greatly. Beomgyu and Yeonjun would still have sleepovers, but they were sneaking around without their parents knowing. The two would sit together in deafening silence with two books held in their hands, sometimes their legs tangled and sometimes their fingers. They barely got the opportunity to have sex among all the hassle.

For Soobin and Taehyun, they would usually sneak up to their lover's house and stay over till the break of the dawn. It wasn't actually playful or filled with cheers and fun anymore. Those were just more and more studying, the only plus point was having the presence of the person they loved most dearly right beside them.

At a point, when even a positive minded person like Huening was even thinking of jumping off a cliff, the exams finally ended, rescuing them. But their graduation day was still remaining. And as much as each of them attempted to deny it, a severe nostalgia would consume their hearts every time they thought of the said day.

It was as though time was a handful of sand, slipping away so quickly beyond their realization. One day they were there, doing just fine, and then suddenly, here they were, facing their graduation day and the very last day of school.

The ceremony wasn't much long. To Beomgyu, the best and and proudest parts were when one of his homies would stand up on stage. He clapped almost creating an explosion when Huening got awarded by the Principal for ranking first in the examination. He himself stood second (the two years he had studied in this school, he had always ranked third, after a girl named Kim Chaewon. And the walnut-haired had no envy or jealousy whatsoever to admit that she definitely was brilliant and deserved it. And this year, surpassing her, he felt his stomach lurch in pride). As he was awarded the crest, his eyes landed on his boyfriend. The boy swore Yeonjun had never looked that thrilled and overjoyed ever, even in the times of his own accomplishments.

When it was Soobin' s turn to present a speech as the president of students' council, Beomgyu clapped once again. He received multiple glares from his fellow students, but a little did he care. And eventually, it was Yeonjun's turn on stage. As the pinkette performed with killing stage-presence, Beomgyu sort of banged his hands on each other. Pupils who labelled him crazy were probably thinking he was high on drugs or something. A glad smile ruled over his lips that screamed, 'That's my man hoes!'
