"Soobin listen to me! If y'all really wanna check up on him, just gather up at his place. His parents ain't home and the key is under the red vase in front of the house. Yea.. we'll handle things here. Alright." Jungkook hung the call up and shoved the phone back in his pocket. He lowered his head, grasping his blonde roots tightly as he rested his elbow on his thighs.
Huening patted his shoulder soothingly. "Don't worry. He's gonna be fine."
"No but seriously!" Jungkook cried dryly, extremely frustrated for being lied to. "He could've shared what was bothering him with at least me! What freakin' devil told him to pass out drunk in a damn bar!"
Yes, Taehyun laid knocked out in a bar as a sequel to drinking too much. He had excused himself out of the date earlier and headed to a bar to clean his blur mind, to escape from what caused his heart to throb painfully. But while being blackout drunk, he had been pickpocketed and was left with no money on him. The bartender, who stood the closest heard the peach-head mumbling a name. He had called the person he heard Taehyun muttering of using the boy's phone (the device had face lock and the bartender didn't have much trouble unlocking it). Thus, Junkook, along with Huening was now out, sitting inside a taxi, in mission- rescue Taehyun. The other three had wanted come along but the eldest had commanded the others to wait up at the peach-head's place, to where the two would be returning after getting Taehyun.
"Is your accelerator broken?!" Jungkook growled at the driver out of maddening anger that swirled inside him. "Drive faster, can't you?!"
The car went whooshing through the roads and decelerated suddenly as it reached the destination. It had a huge , neon signboard with its name written on it but Jungkook knew better than wasting his time to glance at unnecessary nonsenses. He was rapid to pay for the drive and dashed inside the bar, Huening at his foot.
Taehyun's peach locks were easy to trace under the vibrant, neon lights. The two bumped into a couple of shoulders before they finally made it to his side. They smiled just to appeared mannered as they spotted the bartender, standing right by Taehyun's table.
"And you must be Jeon Jungkook, right?" He offered.
Jungkook just nodded, his heart twitching witnessing how tragical his best buddy looked. "How much do I owe you?" He asked, peeling his eyes off of the peach-head's passed out form.
The exchange was over quick enough. No sooner had the bartender strode off, the miserable look was back on the blonde's face. He appeared as if he was going to start weeping. Regardless, he pulled himself altogether.
He could've at least shared with me what's been bothering him. Ain't I trustable enough to him even yet?
Jungkook was going to nudge Taehyun to wake him up but stopped abruptly when he heard the younger muttering something groggily. Not saying a word, Huening raised a silent brow at his brother. The youngest had noticed it as well.
Jungkook crouched down a bit to have a better hear of what Taehyun uttered. "Love you too.. hyung.." Came the boy's sleepy drawl, a faint smile playing on his lips.
Jungkook flinched, not as much as because of the severe smell of alcohol that hit his nose when the peach-head had opened his mouth but the mention of Taehyun.
"What's he saying?" Intrigued, Huening asked out of genuine curiosity, when his brother had stood up again normally.
The words whispered by Taehyun had stirred the eldest's pot of confusion. He chose to lie. "Some random things. He missed his parents, why's this world so painful and so so." He stood still for a second and then wobbled his shoulders, trying to brush off the mess he created inside his head. "Don't suppose he gonna wake up. You grab him there and I here, and he carry him outside."
Huening nodded and obeyed his brother's instructions. Even though his brain refused to believe that Jungkook had shared the correct information with him, what else could he do than keeping it shut?

Damn.. since when the bar has this bright lights?
Head throbbing, Taehyun struggled to open his eyes because of the shining light bulb. It felt as though someone had lit a fire on his head. It stung and burnt, and even before the boy himself could understand, he was palming the sore part with his hands. He tried to swallow, but the dry bitterness didn't allow him.
He rubbed his eyelids aggressively, trying to sit up. A sudden hand helped him position himself properly on the bed, for which, he muttered a quite 'thank you'. The world that had been muffled off of his earshot came clear, except it all sounded a bit blunt because of how his head pounded.
He heard a couple of voices, not a single one unknown to him. He finally glanced up, the first face being witnessed being Huening's. His eyes scanned each and every face just to know if that certain someone was here.
Beomgyu, Yeonjun, Soobin...
His pupils unknowingly widened a teensy bit as his eyes eventually landed on his hyung. "Hyung?" He looked back at the others. "What's y'all doing here? And why am I here?!" He blurted.
"Exactly." The peach head mentally flinched, shivering at how severe venom lingered on each word of Jungkook. Gosh... did he fuck up again? "What were you doing at the bar? You told me you were on a date."
None of the others dared pronouncing a word. Taehyun's Adam's apple ached as he tried to gulp, intimidated visibly. He didn't glance away from his hyung's piercing orbs, which was slowly wiped off his gaze. It was replaced by hurt and eyes which demanded to know why Taehyun didn't trust the elder enough.
Taehyun's head throbbed harder, as though someone had pushed a needle straight through his brain. He frowned at the pain, hand clutching onto his head now with an even stronger grip. "Can we please get some... p-privacy?" He rasped.
The other four just looked at each other and left, not certain if they should say a word or not. Taehyun kept glaring at that way until the last person vanished and eventually glanced back at the blonde, who was standing stiffly by the bed.
"Sit." Taehyun pulled the elder by his wrist. And Jungkook didn't protest and placed himself down by the peach-head, which took Taehyun aback slightly but he disguised it.
The two sat next to each other, the only sounds existing being their inhales and exhales. Taehyun was meaning to speak up but didn't know where to start. His chest was heavy with chaotic emotions. He kept licking his lips, unwilling to break down now. But the hurt at the back of his mind kept torturing him even more as each cruel second ticked by. He shut his eyes close to endure every bit without a sound as he had always done but a dry sob, unfortunately escalated his parted lips by accident.
Jungkook glimpsed at the younger, startled. And confusing him even more, the peach-head threw himself all over Jungkook, not caring about a thing anymore. His heart needed a shelter, and even though it was the only reason why his wounds never dried, it was good to lay on Jungkook's chest.
Teardrops streamed down Taehyun's face as he sobbed like a fragile child. The strongest souls too, broke down at a point and poor Taehyun was just a proof to that statement.
