Chapter 11: Confronting

Now what two friend groups didn't know was that they would eventually cross paths in the school's lobby. 

And when they did, their faces still flustered from the earlier events. 

Couldn't get any redder. 

"Where did you guys just come from?" Nya asked her brother. 

"The gym, why?" Kai quickly said.

Nya's face scrunched as she knew her brother was lying, it was clearly written across his face. 

"Kai, I know when you're telling me the truth or you're lying, spill it." Nya said.

Kai let out a heavy sigh.

"Fine, we overheard Pixel telling Zane that you guys liked us." Kai said quickly.

Nya and the others gasped as they didn't see the boys in the library.

"And where were you, sis?" Kai asked her.

"Well, we were-"

Then Nya was cut off.

"We were doing the exact same thing." Seliel said in a proud voice.

They stood there but couldn't even look each other in the eye from how flustered they were.

The two groups eventually found the two nindroids, and boy, they had a lot to say.

"You can't just tell Pixel our secrets." Cole told Zane.

"Well you guys were too stubborn to say anything, so honestly, you should be thanking us." Zane said, as he was still surprised that they had overheard he and Pixel's conversation.

"Thanking you, why on earth would we do that?!" Kai exclaimed.

"Because clearly, you now all know you like each other." Pixel told the girls.

"Yeah but, not in this type of way." Akita says.

"Then what type of way were you hoping to tell them?" Zane and Pixel asked their friends.

"Without you two openly telling each other!" The others exclaimed.

Zane and Pixel stood there, feeling both ashamed and hurt, as their friends just technically said that they would have done without them or their help.

"Then maybe you could have told us instead of eavesdropping on our conversations." Zane and Pixel told their friends, before walking away.
