Chapter 18: Raising the Stats

Third Person

It had been one month since the guys had asked the girls out with them. And they couldn't be happier when they said yes.

Kai and Skylor were never seen far apart from each other.

Jay had become less nervous around Nya.

Cole and Seliel were always seen at the cafe or skatepark.

Lloyd and Akita went on weakily dates.

And Zane and Pixel were usually either seen doing homework or playing chess together.

But at the moment, the gang was currently eating lunch, the couples were sitting together.

Cole pulled out a protein shake out from his bag which caught Jay's attention.

"I thought you already went to the gym twice a week, why do you have a protein shake with you?" He asked him.

"I do,  this is just for extra protein since me and Kai are trying out for the football team this year." Cole says as he took a big drink of the shake.

"When did you two decide to do that?" Nya asked.

"Since we realized that it could help boost our popularity status." Kai says.

"Well then, if you and Cole make the team, then I'll come watch your games and cheer you on." Skylor said as she nestled up against Kai, much to Nya's disgust.

"Thanks babe," Kai leaned over and pecked her forehead.

"There is no way in hell, that you and dirtbag here are going to make the team." Shade smirked as he walked up towards their table.

"Don't you and I have un-finished buisness?" Pixel asked him.

"Do we?" Shade asked.

"Pixel, calm down, we don't want another fight." Zane said to Pixel.

"Hey, you're the asshole who tried to beat up Morro!" Shade exclaimed when he saw Zane and pointed at him.

"Yo Morro, it's the tincan who tried to beat up your ass." Shade hollered at Morro, who had just been glarring daggers over at Lloyd, now started to glare at Shade.

Pixel was furious at what Shade had done, pointing her boyfriend out in front of the whole cafeteria like that. 

Zane was calming Pixel down but when he realized that Pixel was only starting to get more angry with Shade, he realized what he had to do.

He quickly turned Pixel around to face him and smashed his lips against hers. Pixel then shrieked but only seconds later, melted into the kiss.

Shade stood there, staring at them with shock, while the others were taking pictures.

When Zane broke the kiss, he immediately turned bright red when he realized that the whole cafeteria had just watched him kiss Pixel.

He then ran out of the cafeteria, too embarrassed to say anything else.

"Zane!" Pixel hollered after him as she raced after him.

"Does that help your popularity status?" Nya snarled at Kai and Cole.
