Chapter 20: Do my eyes deceive me?

Nya's P.O.V

Now Kai had to leave early right after school to get a head start on his homework.

So me and Jay headed to the school's workshop to finish something.

"So how's your brother and Skylor?" Jay asks me.

"Ugh, I'm used to Kai flirting with girls, but not my best friend." I say.

"Skylor seems to have her ways with Kai." Jay says.

I roll my eyes, ever since those two became a thing, Kai's been different, it's as if Skylor's changed him in some way.

After the workshop, Jay drives me home, what a gentleman.

"You can come inside, Kai never completes his homework, he'll be wanting to play some Fist to Face 3 anyways." I said as we entered my house.

Jay makes himself comfy while I head upstairs, funny, Kai's never this quiet. 

His door is creaked open just a bit, I peak inside, only to yell-

"Holy shit!"

Kai's not doing his homework(no surprise), he's making out with Skylor!

In our own house, might I add!

They both stopped, only for there to be a long line of saliva connecting between both their lips.

"What's wrong Nya-oh, what the hell!" Jay exclaimed when he examined the situation.

Both Kai and Skylor went dark red, "Better question, what's Jay doing here?" Kai asks me.

"What, you invited your girlfriend over, doesn't mean I can't do the same thing with my boyfriend." I protested.

"Kai invited me over to do homework," Skylor protested back. 

"Clearly," Jay smirked.

I then took one look at their necks and almost fainted.

"You both have hickeys," I groaned.

In a flash, Skylor raced towards the washroom and looked at herself in the mirror, "Oh shit, my dad can't see me with a hickey, he'll kill me!" Skylor exclaimed as she moved her bright red hair to try and cover it up.

"Hold up, I saw a video that might help," I grabbed my makeup kit and tried my best to help cover the hickey up.

After a few minutes, you could barely tell that the hickey was even there.

"Wow Nya, thanks!" Skylor cheered.

"Anything for my bestie." I say.

"What about me?" Kai asked.

"What about you?" I smirked.

"Aren't you gonna cover up my hickey?" He asked me.

I thought about it for a few moments, I mean it would be funny to see Kai get busted by Mom and Dad, but then again, they might blame me since Skylor is my best friend.

"And what would I get in return?" I asked with a devilsh grin.

"What do you mean?" Kai asked.

"If I cover up your hickey, I'm doing you a favor so you don't get busted by Mom and Dad, what do I get in return?" I asked again.

Kai frowned before speaking, "I'll give you a ride to school tomorrow." He said.

"I thought I was." Jay spoke up.

I elbowed him in the ribs, "That be great, Jay here can drive himself," I said as I dragged Jay into my room.

"No funny business!" Kai called out to us as I slammed my door shut.
