"Guys," Matt groaned as he looked between the boys who were still shoveling food into their mouths. "You know I love food as much as you, but we need to leave. This means a lot to Aria and I'm not going to lie, it's kind of making me mad that you guys aren't as serious about this as I am."
"Matthew," Chris complained, the use of his full name making the boy scrunch up his nose and look at his brother in disbelief. "Quit worrying so much. We have plenty of time."
"But we don't," Matt tried to object, "We've been here way longer than an hour. I can just tell."
"Matt, just shut the fuck up and let me enjoy my burger a little longer," Nic pleaded.
"You guys cannot be serious right now," Matt said, shaking his head and not bothering to greet Willie as he sat down with them. He was too mad at the boys.
"Serious as can be," Chris replied, holding up another slice of pizza with a grin on his face, "Oh, pizza! Man, I missed you!"
Matt huffed in annoyance and Nic looked his way, "Matt-" Nic began with a sigh, but he was quickly distracted by Chris who sat beside the boy with a meatball sub to his lips, "Chris, are you kissing that meatball sub?"
Everyone at the table looked to him at that and Chris' eyes shot open as he pulled the sub away. "It's what you do with the things you love," he insisted.
Despite his flustered state, Matt attempted to draw back his anger for what was happening and said, "Guys, this is a serious situation. We need to go."
"What we need is to talk to Caleb," Chris retorted. "What we need is for you to stop worrying and focus on getting back at Nate."
"I'm not going anywhere until we talk to Caleb and find out how to make Nate see us," Chris told him, his eyes narrowing in almost a challenging way. "He hurt all of us, Matt, I'm not letting that go."
"I take it you're all enjoying the feast?" Caleb announced from the stage. His voice caused the whole room to erupt into applause while the boys all set down what remained of their food in order to listen. "So many delicious sights, so many tantalizing sounds, but. . .your eyes still hunger for more. Something sweet. Something. . .savory." Caleb walked across the stage before stepping up onto a platform. "How many newcomers do we have in the club tonight?"
