Taehyung was willing to give Jungkook all the time he needed to figure it out.

Since that night, they hadn't talked about it nor about anything serious again.

Taehyung would often crash at the Jeons when his father pissed him off, which meant almost every night.

At this point, he might as well bring all his clothes to the Jeons and settle there for good.

"And I'm really lost. I don't know what to do about it" Ari ended the long story she was telling Taehyung while her brother didn't pay attention to most of it.

Well, he vaguely overheard Ari's complain about their father's attitude and how Hyungshik seemed to be always prying into her relationship with Namjoon.

It's not like he didn't warn her exactly two weeks ago.

He wanted to whistle out the I told you so but Ari would probably kick him.

"You can always tell him to fuck off. It's a bit late but not too late either" Taehyung eventually said, eyes peeking at his phone from time to time.

Today, he had a plan with Jungkook, they're supposed to go out with Jungkook's other friends.

Unfortunately, Ari hadn't stopped calling Taehyung since last night, pestering him with messages, thus, he's sleep deprived but also Jungkook deprived. 

These days, he found himself not able to go a single day without seeing his friend.

"Well, that's a very good advice, Taehyung!" Ari snapped as she snatched the phone away from her brother. It irked her that the latter was barely listening to what she was saying. "Now, stop looking at your phone and get back to the matter at hand!"

Taehyung quickly groaned. He tried to get the device back but Ari shoved it inside her bag.

"It's not my fault that you're now regretting not listening to me!" Taehyung exclaimed. "But if you want my opinion, I think you should talk with Namjoon"

"Did you even listen to a thing I just said?" Taehyung was taken aback by the sudden explosion. "I told you that Namjoon and I barely see each other. And when we do, he always talks about father. Now, I'm asking myself if he's still my boyfriend or father's!"

"Okay, so first of all ew-" Taehyung can't even bring himself to picture Hyungshik and Namjoon together in that way. "Namjoon's just worried to disappoint him. That's how father does it with us, he likes controlling people. Secondly, you should find an alternative help for Joon, father will keep torturing you both if you keep accepting his help"

"But what if Joon refuses to cooperate? After all, it's a win for him, he needs the money"

"If he wants to keep you then he has to choose" Taehyung replied. "You're his girlfriend, not his provider"

"I'll try to talk with him. I'm tired of this situation, already. We're supposed to be the two of us in this relationship, not bring another addition and certainly not father..."

"That's the spirit" Taehyung gave her a quick kiss before retreating away. "Now, give me my phone!"

"Is it still the Jungkook guy you're flirting with?" Ari sounded a bit exasperated, nonetheless, she finally gave him the device. "He's a playboy, Tae. He's not good for you"
