"What are you doing?" Jungeun curiously asked upon seeing a shirtless Taehyung standing behind the stove at such early in the morning.
Taehyung never cooked anything, just usually enjoyed Jungeun's breakfast so to say the least, it's strange to see him there.
"Jungkook and I woke up an hour ago and he complained that he was famished so..." the younger had trailed, not giving a single glance at Jungeun, his full attention still on the frying eggs in front of him.
"Wait, did you guys sleep together?" There seemed to be a halt in the man's breathing, Taehyung could feel Jungeun's gaze boring his back, impatiently waiting for an explanation.
Well, it's not like it's the first time he and Jungkook slept together in the same bed. Yesterday, Jungkook just needed him, he had to be there, it's not as if he would've been able to sleep alone in his bed, anyways.
"As you could see, he didn't feel well yesterday. I couldn't let him on his own" he felt the need to explain.
"But, how about you? I know you're worried about him bu-"
"Don't worry about that" Taehyung ended the man's worry, he pulled the frying pan out of the fire, grinned proudly at his chef-d'œuvre.
"It's a dangerous game, Taehyung" Jungeun kept reminding as if he didn't know that already.
Taehyung was well aware that all of this is dangerous, his and Jungkook's friendship was doomed from the very start, however, he's not going to give up on the most beautiful thing he's ever experienced, being with Jungkook brings him so much comfort. At this point, he doesn't care however it ends.
Now, they are good.
Ari had already rejected the boy.
"I know I'm playing with fire but I can't help myself when it comes him. I'm addicted to the thrill" Taehyung simply responded, this time, he finally turned to face the older, they looked at each other for a moment and Taehyung felt as if Jungeun was searching some sort of common sense into him.
"You don't know what you're doing, kid" Taehyung could notice the way Jungeun's jaw had tensed, which could only mean that the man was somehow irritated, but why? Why does he even care in the first place?
"Jungeun, stop thinking too much about it. Jungkook and I are friends, I'm doing my job, I take care of him just like how he did when I wasn't feeling well!"
What else is he supposed to do then?
Just sleep peacefully in his room while Jungkook clearly needed him?
"You don't owe him anything!" The echo of Jungeun's voice made Taehyung flinch for a moment, okay, Jungeun is going to freak him out if this goes on.
The older man's attitude is clearly so strange.
Why is he even angry at Taehyung?
"What's going on here?"
Great!
Just fucking great!
Now, the son also entered the room and Taehyung has to deal with not only one but two grumpy Jeon.
"It's none of your business" Jungeun looked annoyed as soon as Jungkook appeared in the corner of the room.
"It's my business because you were yelling at Taehyung. What's up?" Jungkook asked. Taehyung felt how his friend was suppressing his displeasure.
"It's nothing. We were just...discussing" Taehyung had jumped in, catching the men's attention and breaking their intense staring contest at the same time.
