'And I'm yours but you're not mine'- Say don't go

The following days, Jungkook skipped almost all his classes to take care of Isa since she didn't have any families nor other friends willing to do it.

From what Taehyung had heard, the girl's parents only sent in flowers and cards and of course more money to cover up the hospital bills and therapy sessions.

If before, he always saw Isa as a spoiled kid uncaring of her future because she's got mommy and daddy's money to live on, now, he could understand her better than he ever did. Looked like, parties , drugs and alcohol were just her way of escaping the lonely life.

"I don't know if I should apologize to them" Taehyung mentioned to Sana who was forced to listen to him vent because Ari was busy somewhere else. After all, his only friends were his sisters so he had to force one of them to just listen and if allowed, give him some piece of advice? "I mean, yeah, I was a bit jealous but they were also always together-"

"You and Jungkook were always together, Tae" Sana pointed and even if  Taehyung had shot her a death glare, she kept going. "Isa was with him only like ten percent of the time. You can't really expect him to have no other friends. That's impossible"

"But he is my only friend. We don't need other people" he flatly said.

"I'm sorry to break it you, my dear brother, but you're being unreasonable" Sana breathed out. "I don't even know why you hate Isa but not Jungkook. Jungkook was the one who led you on, not her. And as you've said, she wanted Jungkook to be with you"

"I don't hate anyone, okay?" Taehyung quickly countered. "I don't hate Isa. I just didn't like her so much but with everything that had happened now, I think I might try to tolerate her"

"It's clear that Jungkook's your first crush" Sana sighed as if she was hopeless. Well, maybe she was.  "You need to calm down. She's not going to steal him away from you" she ended with a small laugh and hearing it like that made this whole thing seem so much stupid and childish.

Taehyung couldn't say it but Sana wasn't so wrong. He might be a bit afraid that someone was going to take Jungkook from him- which- again, was ridiculous because Jungkook was not even his.

"He's a playboy. He flirted with Ari in front of my damn eyes"

"You don't trust him" his sister concluded and she couldn't be more right. "Why don't you speak with him?"

"He doesn't really have the time for that, right now and-"

"I bet he has. He seems like he really likes you"

"I thought so too but then he yelled at me about the boyfriend thing and I started to lose all hopes" he groaned in a low voice.

"Maybe he's just not ready to cross the cape yet. Look, I don't want to sound like I'm his advocate but he wasn't even out of the closet nor aware he was bi, until he met you. Guys like him need more time to digest the fact that they weren't as heterosexual as they thought. When you broke out the 'boyfriend' thing, I bet he must've chicken out" Sana carefully explained, before taking a long sip of her cocktail.

"If he wasn't ready then why did he kiss me in front of the whole school? I didn't even initiate it, I thought he'd be uncomfortable. He even kissed me in front of his father" Taehyung dryly chuckled. "I think anyone in my place would think the same. He was acting as if I was already his boyfriend"

"You're right about that" Sana hummed with a nod. "He shouldn't have led you on but you could also just break it to him and explain your confusions. It would've saved you from this whole mess"
