At 32 years old, Anirudh is a gold medalist and a highly successful barrister (lawyer). Anirudh believes in treating everyone-especially women-with dignity and fairness. However, his admirable traits are often overshadowed by his short temper. He is quick to anger, even over the smallest matters, and struggles to control this side of himself.

Despite his success and sharp mind, Anirudh is a broken man. His past is riddled with pain and darkness, stemming from a devastating conflict between Krishnanagar and Tulsipur. The events of that dreadful past left him bitter and filled with resentment, particularly towards Krishnanagar and Thaku Maa, whom he blames for the turmoil. This deep-rooted enmity has hardened his heart, making it difficult for him to trust or forgive.

When Bondita re-enters his life as Vaijayanthi, pretending to be someone else, he initially misunderstands her intentions. Like everyone else, he suspects that she has come to spy on Krishnanagar, reigniting his buried anger and mistrust. But deep down, Anirudh knows Bondita better than anyone. He is aware that she isn't driven by enmity or deceit. Slowly but surely, he finds himself drawn to her-her innocence, her unwavering faith in him, and her ability to see through his anger into the vulnerable man beneath.

However, Anirudh's heart and mind are at war. The scars of his past hold him back, filling him with fear and confusion. While his heart urges him to embrace his growing love for Bondita, his brain reminds him of the dangers of letting someone close. Torn between his emotions and his logic, Anirudh struggles to take the leap of faith and confess his love for her.
