I took a last deep breath after finishing all my work around the house. My work was done, but still, I was so desperate all day today. After spending time for weeks with Pati Babu, I missed him a lot. I hope I would have said yes to going to court! But now what to do?

Lunch was already ready and sitting on the dinner table. Now, I just had to go to Pati Babu. I went towards the kitchen, packed food for Pati Babu and also for myself. We could eat together. I missed him feeding me like I’m a baby, and I wanted him to feed me.

As I finished, I moved towards the hall. There was Kaka Sasur Ji reading a newspaper as he always does. I went towards him. He looked at me, confused, and asked, "Kaha jaa rehe ho babu?"

I blinked nervously. If Kaka Sasur Ji said no, I could never go. I said, "Woh, Pati Babu ko khana dene..."

Kaka Sasur Ji smiled, nodded, and said, shocking me, "Aree toh yaha kya kadhi ho jao.. jao!"

A smile hit my face as I nodded with a bright giggle and started walking towards the car. Our driver was already waiting for me. With a smile, I got in the car, and it started.

Finally, I was going to meet Pati Babu after three hours. It felt like we hadn't met for three years. Oh God, I missed him so much. I was dying to hug him and to hear him call me Butterfly.

The car stopped in front of the court. I got down, taking the lunchbox, and walked inside. I knew where Pati Babu's office was, and now my heart was beating so fast.

As I reached his office, the door was not fully open but half-open. I didn’t knock as I opened the door and looked at the table. What I saw was Mishti Didi and Pati Babu... eating?

Oh... I didn’t know what was happening and how Mishti Di came here. She was at home, right? Then... As Pati Babu saw me, he stood up from his chair. His smile was all along his face, making me forget why I was here. He came towards me, saying, "Bonditaaaa..."

Before I could respond, he took the lunchbox from my hand, kept it on the table, and with a jolt, I felt him holding me in a tight hug, saying, "I miss you, Butterflyyyy."

His voice was so soft, his hug so tight. I said, "I miss you too, Pati Babu!"

The world faded for us. It was just me and him here, that’s how I wanted it. He was holding me in his arms. It felt like forever, but it didn’t last long as Mishti Di’s voice interrupted, "Guys, I'm still here!"

I pulled away awkwardly with a shy smile. Mishti Di's expression was not clear as she said, "I guess I have to go. And Bondita, I'm here just to clear everything with Aniruddh. Don't take me wrong, okay?" With that, she stood up, walked towards us, and left.

I looked at Pati Babu, my expression confused, but then Pati Babu kissed my forehead and said, "How are you, Butterfly?"

I smiled and replied, "Just as you left me..." Then I pushed and asked, "Uhm, Pati Babu, Mishti Di yaha?"
