Anirudh’s voice was cold and laced with frustration as he gripped Bondita’s shoulders. “What relationship? What bond? There was never anything between us, not before, not now, and never will be. Didn’t I make that clear to you the other day? Then why did you come here for me? What bond do we share that you're doing all this for me? Even knowing that we, the people of Tulsipur, are your enemies, I am your enemy. Yet, here you are. Tell me, Bondita, what relationship is worth all this? What’s the name of this bond, Bondita? WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS RELATIONSHIP?”

Bondita’s heart shattered. Tears welled up in her eyes as she stared at him in disbelief. How could this man, her Sakha Babu, be the same person who had once stood by her through everything? Anirudh could see the pain in her eyes, silently cursing himself for hurting her like this, but he felt there was no other way.

Her sadness quickly transformed into anger. With all her strength, Bondita pushed him away, breaking free from his grip. Anirudh stumbled, barely managing to stay on his feet. Bondita, now furious, wiped her tears and marched up to him, grabbing him by the collar. He looked at her in shock, seeing the disappointment, pain, and fury in her eyes.

"What’s wrong with you, Sakha Babu? You’re asking me the name of our bond?" she shouted. "Our bond, which is so special, so unique? You were the one who told me that, weren't you? Then why do you need a name for it now? I never thought in all these years that you would change so much."

She let go of his collar, but Anirudh stood frozen, unable to meet her eyes, staring at the ground in silence. But Bondita wasn’t done. She grabbed his collar again, pulling him closer. “You want to know the name of our bond, right?” she asked, her voice shaking with emotion. “Well, I’ll tell you. The name of our bond, from my side, is love. Yes, Sakha Babu, I love you.”

Anirudh’s hands clenched into fists, his mind reeling. “W-What... What are you saying, Bondita?” he stammered, barely able to get the words out.

“I’m telling you the truth, Sakha Babu. I’ve fallen in love with you,” she said, her voice cracking. “I came here for love. Did you hear me? I came here for love, because I love you, Sakha Babu. I... love you.”

She released his collar, tears streaming down her face. Anirudh could hardly believe what he was hearing. "You're... you’re out of your mind, Bondita. I’m your enemy, and you... No. No, this is wrong.”

“What’s wrong about it, Sakha Babu? You were the one who taught me what love is, what it means to love. So now that I’ve fallen in love with you, how is it wrong? And even if you don’t admit it, I know that somewhere, deep down, you love me too.”

"No, Bondita, I don’t love you,” Anirudh said, trying to control his emotions. “You’re my enemy, and I don’t—”

“You do love me. You just can’t say it,” Bondita interrupted.

“I told you, Bondita. I don’t love you.”

“You do.”

“I don’t!”
