After they left the exhibit, Keith suggested watching a movie together, considering they had plenty of time, and Irene happily agreed.

They decided on a science fiction movie, knowing Irene's love for the genre.

"Let me buy the tickets," Keith said as he walked up to the counter.

After purchasing the tickets and some snacks, as he came back ,he noticed two girls approaching Irene. He paused in his tracks.

"Hello miss, I saw you at the exhibit.

If you don't mind, I would like to get to know you. Can we exchange numbers?" a cute young girl said to Irene.

"Wow, that's very direct,"

Irene thought, impressed by the girl's straightforwardness.

However, she replied with a smile, "Sorry, I'm here with my partner," though it was a lie.

The girl's expression turned sad, and she bid farewell before leaving.

"Was that too harsh?" Irene pondered,

as she glanced sideways, her eyes lighting up.

Keith saw Irene approaching him with a smile, and a sense of uneasiness dissipated from his heart.

"Did you hear that? I just said that to avoid the situation," Irene asked.

"Yes, don't worry," Keith calmly replied.

As they both entered the hall and took their seats.

"Let's go to a restaurant and have dinner. It's my treat,"

Irene suggested, and Keith agreed.

They decided to go to a nearby restaurant, which may not have been very large, but it was cozy and filled with warmth.

Keith was particularly fond of this kind of place. After they finished eating, Keith accompanied Irene to her home.

Upon reaching her home, Irene got out of the car.

"Did you enjoy today?" Irene asked, leaning on the car window.

"Yes, it's been a long time since I enjoyed something this much," Keith said softly.

"Then why don't we do this more often? What do you say?"

Irene suggested, smiling outside but feeling a sense of nervousness inside as waiting for his answer.

"Okay, I'll let you know when I have some free time," Keith responded, looking at her.

Then, they fell silent, their gaze locked onto each other. They both wanted to say more, but couldn't find the words.

'Auntieeeee~~~~,'

Suddenly, a boy ran towards Irene, calling out,and clung to her like a koala, breaking the atmosphere.

"Rein, stop and come here," Irene's brother said.

"No, I won't," replied Irene's nephew Rein as he tightly hugged Irene.

When the child noticed Keith, he exclaimed in shock,

'Dad, this man saved me that day,'

and cutely asked, 'How are you, uncle?'

Keith looked at the scene and chuckled. After talking for a few minutes, he continued on his way.

"I reached home,"

Keith sent a message.

Irene read the message and smiled.

Her brother looked at her and said, "So, how is your date?" as he fed his son, Rein.

"It's not a date, just two friends enjoying each other's company," Irene replied.

"Really? Why don't you admit it? You have a crush on Mr. Genevieve," her brother said firmly.

"You are delusional. I don't have any crush," Irene defended herself.

"Seriously, why are you so afraid of relationships?" her brother retorted.

"I am not afraid."

And Both brother and sister started their sibling banter as Rein watched them with twinkling eyes. He clearly enjoyed their banter.

Another month came and went, marking almost a year since Irene first met Keith.

As time passed, Irene couldn't deny that she had developed feelings for him.

She adored everything about him-his infectious smile, the way he cared for her, and how he appeared stern on the outside but was truly adorable on the inside.

"I can't help but like everything about him,"

Irene frustratingly exclaimed, clutching her head as she sat on the counter lost in thought.

However, her fears of starting a relationship began to weigh on her, and she found herself agreeing with her brother's concerns.

Lost in her thoughts, Irene felt a gentle poke on her cheek.

Looking up, she saw Keith standing there with a warm smile on his face. In that moment, Irene's worries melted away.

Keith playfully poked her cheek and said, "Let's go, or we're going to be late."

Irene nodded, grabbed her bag, and told Jennie to take care.

Jennie bid them goodbye, her eyes carrying tinge of sadness. However, she quickly replaced it with a warm smile for the customers, hiding any trace of her true feelings.
