44: Someone New?

The castle was still shocked by the sudden appearance of the prince's mate, even though a week has passed. No one ever failed to gape at the beautiful being. And that brought a smirk on Taehyung's face, while Jungkook was mostly annoyed. They were also amazed by the drastic change of their prince. He was more cheerful and lively.
The very next day after their arrival, the elder had been called up and they searched for training methods for the elemental. A week Taehyung trained; he learned to control fire first as that was the element that was more familiar to him. Next water, then air and finally earth. Now he actually felt connected to nature. And he loved this feeling. He could hear the silent whispers of nature. A week and Taehyung had already mastered controlling the four elements.
Jungkook was amazed. His baby was absolutely amazing. He was shocked when Taehyung surrounded him with blazing hot fire, but the fire didn't even burn an inch of his skin. In fact he felt more alive... Even though that sounds really weird. The way he let the water flow around him with a mere wave of his hand. And that fucking storm he created. He didn't even want to think about it. That was terrifying! And how he created a new hill beside the old one's. But what amazed him more was Taehyung's connection with nature. Every creature seems to obey him; be it plants or animals. He'd watched Taehyung bringing back a decayed dead plant to life and the plant was blooming afterwards. He was already strong physically. All in all his baby was just fantastic and he was so proud.
Right now both of them were laying in the small garden behind the castle on the moist grass with Jungkook's head over Taehyung's stomach. Time to time Jungkook would nuzzle into the other's soft skin. He had already lifted off Taehyung's shirt up to his chest. Taehyung would squirm around and giggle as Jungkook nuzzled him. But he didn't push him off. He let him do whatever he wanted.
They were actually waiting. After waiting for a week and securing blood moon pack, their friends were returning today and this time they are also dragging Namjoon with them because Jin was reluctant to come without his mate.
In about two hours they would be here. And till then the two love birds thought it would be nice to enjoy the nature in each other's presence.
Taehyung was now amusing himself by making the vines of a creeper plant twist itself around Jungkook. Both were now sitting, facing each other.
"Are you planning on turning me into a plant?"
Taehyung gave him a weird look. "How is that even possible?"
"With you here I think everything is possible now..."
"Oh shush... See how pretty you look with those cute little yellow flowers all over you..." Taehyung beamed. He's made the vines twist around his head, ankle, wrist and neck like ornaments.
"Pretty?! I'm not pretty. I'm handsome. You're the one who's pretty here. And please take this off my neck before it starts choking me..."
Taehyung scowled but let the vines slid off Jungkook.
Jungkook pushed him back on the grass again and settled back into their previous positions.
They laid there silently.
And then someone began to push into Jungkook's mind. Trying to link. They seemed to be desperate.
'Jin?'
'Uh... Kook we found someone...'
'Okay...? Who?'
'We were on our way back and then we saw this girl... Unconscious... And we are in shock. You should see her. Can we bring her along?'
Jungkook was confused. Why would they want to bring someone along? That too a stranger. And why should he see her?
Taehyung also heard it. He was wondering the same thing. Maybe she was in a bad state.
They looked at each other and nodded.
'Alright bring her along. But be careful. We don't want anymore trouble.'
'Believe me... You're in for a shock.'
Jin said and broke off the link.
"What was that all about?"
"No idea..."
Both shrugged and continued laying there.
In about an hour Jimin came running towards them announcing their arrival.
"Guys... You need to see something..." He said and dragged the other two with him. "Where's Hoseok."
"Inside somewhere..." Jungkook said.
Jimin nodded and mind linked him.
"What's the matter...?" Taehyung was getting impatient.
"Ummm Just come."
He lead them to the castle grounds.
"They're there..." He pointed towards the middle. Where stood Yoongi, Jin and Namjoon with an unconscious girl in Jin's arms. They also saw Namjoon gaping at the whole place in wonder.
"That's the girl?"
Jimin nodded. And the three walked towards the others.
They had almost reached them when Jungkook and Taehyung stopped in their tracks going dead still. Their eyes widened at the sight.
"No fucking way!" Taehyung screamed.
"She's a fucking wolf!" Jungkook shouted as he sniffed the air.
"Exactly..." Jin said calmly. He was past shock. Now he was worried.
"But how! Is that really..." Taehyung started.
"We've no idea... She looks like her though." Yoongi said staring at the unconscious girl.
By now Hoseok came running to the grounds hearing Jimin scream into his mind. He saw his friends in the middle of the ground and began walking towards them when he stopped suddenly. He sniffed the air and only one word was echoing in his mind.
Mate.
He senses became stronger and with almost trembling legs he moved forwards. He wasn't sure how he felt about this. Yes, he wanted a mate... Badly. But he'd already fallen in love... Once... He just wasn't sure about this.
He will reach them any moment. But deep down he wanted to run back into the castle. But the amazing scent was pulling him forwards.
He now stood near Taehyung who was still in shock. That's when his eyes fell on his mates face. And his whole world flipped.
"Maryl?"
