54: Ripped Apart

A gasp left Jungkook's mouth. His eyes opened and he sat up immediately, only to groan and hold his head that he felt like it would explode any moment from the throbbing pain.
"Uh. What.." he mumbled trying to grasp the situation.
Taehyung was feeling the same. Everything hurts. Sitting up he shook his head a few times. "What."
Then his eyes widened. He covered his mouth with his palms as tears welled up in his eyes. No. this can't be..
He was marked...by that monster.
He was marked by someone else other than his Kookie.
He scratched the painful mark with his nails. Crying not because of the physical pain he felt. But because of how he was torn away from his Kookie.
Closing his eyes he tried to concentrate despite the tears that fell down. Searching for any presence of his soulmate. But he was purely disgusted and felt filthy when instead of Jungkook he felt someone else's presence.
No. He was not going to accept this. He belongs to Jungkook. His only mate and no one else. Ignoring everything else he searched.. for that warmth that only Jungkook could offer him. Atleast a tinest bit. He won't belive Jungkook was taken away from him. No.
Jungkook was also crying. He felt like he failed everything. He failed to protect him again.. their bond was blank.... It was killing him.
Jin was trying his best to calm him down but that was not what he wanted.. he wanted his mate back.
Somewhere... anywhere... he should be still there. Their bond can't be broken that easily. He belived.. No. He knows the connection between them is strong.
Taehyung burst into another set of tears as he finally found him. They were still connected. Jungkook was still there... it was faded but he was there. His Kookie was there.
"Hyung! He. he's there..I can feel him.."
Jungkook cried to Jin who patted his back.
Both tried to grasp each other... as much as they could.
Jungkook ran along the corridors along with others towards Taehyung.
The demon smirked as he saw the elemental awake. "You're awake my dear little mate.."
Taehyung shuddered in disgust as he heard someone other than Jungkook talking to him through the mate bond. "I'm not your mate. I never will be!" He screamed on top of his voice.
Creating a strong barrier around the two of them, the demon instantly appeared infront of Taehyung who flinched.
"You are. You will be. The bond is partially complete. That's more than enough for me to control you." The demon warned.
Taehyung widened his eyes as a wave of pain hit him. This can't be.... nobody ever had dominance over him other than Jungkook but now...
"Now listen up..omega. I want you to look into my eyes without breaking our eye contact till I say so. I'm going to take over your body. And you will listen to me otherwise I'll kill that little soul I sense here." the demon said pressing his hand on Taehyung's stomach. "...after all I do have all the rights to hold a grudge against this one here. This one was afterall the reason why you escaped from me last time..."
Taehyung gasped and pushed the demon away, covering his stomach protectively with his arms. The words spoken by the demon ran through his mind and till the words made sense to him.. His eyes widened and he covered his mouth with one hand while other softly caressed his stomach.
'My puppy is back..'
There was no way he was letting anyone hurt his baby again. This time he'll protect him.
"What do you say? Let it die or listen to me..."
Taehyung was lost. What should he do.. He can't lost their baby.
"Answer Me!" A shout from demon made
Taehyung cry out. He can't fight against him... is this how he's going to become the curse?
Reluctantly he nodded.
'Jungkook...its all up to you.. I belive in you.' He tried to say through the thin string that connected him and Jungkook. Hopefully he'll be able to listen.
Jungkook rushed into the hall to see the horrific sight. Bodies and blood everywhere. He saw his family banging against some invisible wall. The witches along side trying to break the barrier but failing miserably.
Inside he saw him.
"TAE!" He shouted. But then saw another man near him. The demon. He ran upto them only to be stopped by the invisible barrier. "SHIT! TAE! TAE!"
It was like Taehyung couldn't hear him or see him. He was cowering infront of the demon. He looked so weak.
'Jungkook...its all up to you.. I belive in you.' He heard a whisper. It was so small and faded. But he was sure it was his mate.
Jungkook was angry. He felt his wolf take over. Nothing and nobody hurts his mate. His eyes glowed as he growled loudly.
"Jungkook! No. it's useless." He heard someone shout as he banged on the wall.
"What the fuck should I do then? Watch as he hurts my mate!" He shouted to that someone. He didn't care who.
All of the sudden the invisible wall was gone. No more barrier. Not wasting a moment, he rushed inside and pushed the enemy against the wall holding him by his throat.
"No...wait-"
"You. Hurt. My. Mate. You. Die." He growled out before squeezing the males throat. His nails dug in as he pulled and ripped away his head. He stepped on the head that rolled on the floor and crushed it. Satisfied a bit hearing the crunching noise of the bones being crushed.
Breathing heavily with the anger he still felt, he turned towards his mate who was still sitting on the floor, now watching him in amusement.
"That was a nice show Prince Jungkook."
Jungkook frowned. He took back the control from his wolf and stared at Taehyung. Who was staring back at him with a smirk.
"Baby?"
"You're baby is gone." Taehyung said in a voice much rougher and deeper. He stood up and walked closer to Jungkook. Leaning to him, he whispered in his ears. "I control him now."
Taehyung leaned back and Jungkook was taken back as he noticed his eyes.
