56: Reign Of Evil

Retracting his canines, Jungkook licked off the blood that ran from the fresh mark he made. He kissed and sucked at it before leaning back to look into his baby's eyes.
The sparkling vibrant eyes of the elemental locked with the glowing golden eyes of the royal. Both staring at each other intensely.
'Baby...' Jungkook called out.
Taehyung smiled in response. It was strained. 'He wants the control back Kookie...I can't push any longer...'
'I've got you now baby. You're with me. We'll defeat him.'
Tachyung was struggling. He was getting pulled back. 'I love you..' He said before his eyes rolled back into his head. His eyelids closed. When he opened them back it wasn't Taehyung anymore.
He pushed Jungkook off him sending him flying a few feet away.
"How dare you!" The demon screamed, charging towards Jungkook who simply chuckled.
"I'll destroy you." He promised before throwing a blast of flame towards the royal. Jungkook simply raised his eyebrows as the flames touched his body.
"For a demon, you're very stupid." Jungkook said and chuckled again. "That person you're trying to control.. he's my mate... soulmate. He can't hurt me with his powers. So can't you now. So just do us a favor and leave him alone. I'm standing between him and you now, no matter what you do, I'll make sure you can't cause any harm anymore..." Jungkook said smirking.
The demon was seething with anger. He was challenged. But he wasn't ready to lose. His plan can't be destroyed now. He'll win. He was a demon... a wicked and evil one.
The anger slowly washed off his face and a smirk appeared slowly. "But I'm sure you wouldn't want to interfere... oh great prince of werewolves..." Jungkook frowned and was about to speak when the demon continued again.
"Taehyung and I have made a deal. He'd let me control him and his soul if I agree with him. I stayed fair with the deal till now... but if you decide to break it then I can't promise the safety of your little offspring here anymore."
He said running a hand over the cloth covered stomach with an evil glint in his eyes. " and your mate... I'll make sure you won't be able to feel his soul ever again." He continued..."so.. what do you say? Still want to stand in my way?"
Jungkook froze. Taehyung made a deal? What was he suppose to do now. His family was in danger!
Why Tae? Why?
He closed his eyes, he could feel Taehyung.
Their bond stood strong. But his baby was asleep.
His confidence faltered. His knees felt weak. Unconsciously he took a step back.
"That's what I though. Such a sweet mate." The demon said smiling. "Now stay out of my way." He said pushing him away, a few feet back.
The next second he raised his hand and a swirl of black fumes appeared in between them. The fumes got bigger and attained a circular shape. It jerked and vibrated for a moment before it glowed.
"Oh no no no!" The elder and witches screamed. "He opened the portal!"
"This can't be happening."
"We're going to die!"
The royals were confused and scared.
"Portal?" Jihoon questioned.
"The portal! It connects our world with spirit world. I should have realised this sooner... this was why he wanted Taehyung! Only with the power of a very strong and pure soul can the demon open this portal. This is bad. This is very very bad. Our world will be destroyed." The elder was panicking.
The royals now understanding the situation, was equally as panicked.
Soon enough hundreds of shadow like figures began to walk out of the portal. One by one they stood behind Tachyung, who was controlled by the demon. A dark aura enveloped him as every bit of innocence and purity vanished from his face.
Jungkook couldn't move. He was trembling. The sight infront of him was making him scared.
"We should stop this!" It was Namjoon who spoke.
The elder nodded. "The demon should leave Taehyung. The longer he stays in him, not only will the demon get stronger, but Taehyung's soul will become more and more dark. Turning evil. We can't let that happen."
"We can't fight them all, they are too many..." Jimin said gulping. This was getting messier by the second.
"We can't stand here and do nothing." Yoongi said. "We should stop him."
The royals nodded and began to move towards the group that was growing in size.
"This won't do. Fighting him won't work.
The demon should be separated from the elemental. How.. we can't make it happen if the demon himself doesn't leave his body." The elder said as he watched the royals and spirits began to attack each other.
The witches looked at each other, they knew a way...two actually. Both, they were sure, the royals won't be happy to hear it. But they decided to tell the old man.
"We know how..... they will be separated but it can harm the elemental..a death with no return..."
