Sadie Helena McCarty found herself standing in the opulent living room of Isabel Salvatore Mikaelson's grand manor. The room was adorned with exquisite furniture and elegant artwork, creating an atmosphere of refined luxury. She tightly embraced her brother, Emmett Dale McCarty Cullen, seeking solace in his comforting presence.

Emmett, his voice filled with a mix of relief and curiosity, inquired, "So, you managed to escape the tragic fate that befell our dear parents in the devastating fire?"

Sadie's eyes glistened with a hint of sorrow as she replied, her voice tinged with uncertainty, "Yes, dear brother, the memories of that fateful night are hazy at best. I recall awakening to the acrid scent of smoke, a chilling sensation enveloping my senses. Suddenly, darkness consumed me, erasing any recollection of the events that followed. The next fragment of my memory consists of regaining consciousness, plagued by an insatiable thirst that ravaged my very being. To my astonishment, I found myself bound to a bed, stripped of my garments, while Claudia, in her deranged state, exhibited erratic behavior.

"Is Claudia Eli's girlfriend?" Emmett inquired, his curiosity piqued.

Sadie nodded, her eyes filled with memories. "Claudia was not only my sire, but she was also Eli's girlfriend back when we were all still human," she explained.

Emmett and Dean exchanged glances, their interest growing. "So, Claudia turned you into a vampire?" they asked in unison.

Sadie let out a heavy sigh, her voice tinged with a mix of sadness and frustration. "Yes, she was quite unhinged," she admitted.

Perplexed, Dean pressed for more information. "What do you mean, sis?" he probed.

Sadie took a moment to gather her thoughts before continuing. "Claudia had this delusion that I was destined to be her mate," she revealed, her voice laced with a hint of disbelief. "So, she resorted to kidnapping me, all in the name of fulfilling her twisted desires. And, well, you can imagine what transpired after I woke up as a newborn vampire," she concluded, her words heavy with the weight of her past experiences.

Emmett's face contorted with anger as he blurted out, "She raped you?" His voice carried a mix of disbelief and fury.

Sadie, her voice tinged with a hint of sadness, nodded slowly. "Yeah," she replied, her eyes gazing into the distance as she recalled the painful memories. "I was completely under her control for my first several years of being a vampire." The weight of those years seemed to hang heavy in her words, as if each passing moment had been a battle against the suffocating grip of her tormentor.

Emmett, Declan, Elijah, and William enveloped their little sister, Sadie, in a tight embrace, their love and protectiveness evident in their actions.

Rosalie and Patricia Hale McCarty entered the living room, their eyes falling upon their husbands, Emmett and Dean, who were tenderly hugging a young girl. Rosalie and Patricia exchanged a brief glance, their curiosity piqued as they recognized the blonde girl from the photographs that Emmett and Dean had kept of her.

"Sadie?" Patricia inquired, her voice filled with a mix of surprise and uncertainty.

"Yes, we found her when we were in Seattle," Rowena replied, her tone carrying a hint of relief.

"I thought she had perished in the fire that claimed the lives of Emmett's parents," Rosalie remarked, her voice tinged with sadness.

"That's Sadie's story, Rose," Rowena explained, her words laced with a touch of mystery.

Rosalie nodded, her understanding evident in her eyes.

"Rosie, come and meet my sister," Emmett invited, his voice filled with pride.
