Prudence Salvatore, refrain from laughing at your brother," Bella advised her in a motherly tone, emphasizing the importance of familial unity.
Prudence "Prue" Marie Salvatore Whitlock stood in the doorway, observing her mother's actions with a thoughtful expression. she nodded slowly, her mind processing the situation at hand. Meanwhile, Damien, his mischievous nature getting the best of him, couldn't help but let out a small chuckle, barely audible beneath his breath.
Prudence's attention was immediately drawn to her brother as he caught her gaze. Their eyes locked for a brief moment, a silent understanding passing between them. However, before they could exchange any words, Damien suddenly crumpled to the ground, his face contorted in pain. Prudence's heart skipped a beat, her concern for her brother overwhelming her.
"Cut it out, Prue!" Damien managed to gasp out, his voice strained. "I'm sorry, just cut it out!"
The sound of their interaction caught the attention of Bella, their mother, who swiftly entered the room. Her voice filled with exasperation, she scolded her daughter, "Prudence Marie! Stop torturing your brother!"
Prudence rolled her eyes, a hint of playful defiance in her tone. "Oh well, you're not fun, ma."
Damien, slowly regaining his composure, rose to his feet and fixed his gaze upon his sister, a mixture of amusement and annoyance evident in his eyes.
Carlisle pondered, his curiosity piqued by the enigmatic figures before him. "Pray tell, Bella, who might you and these vampires be?"
With a nonchalant air, Bella responded, her voice tinged with a hint of mischief. "Ah, dear Carlisle, I am none other than Isabella Marie Salvatore Mikaelson. And as for these so-called 'vampires,' they are none other than my beloved offspring, Prudence and Damien."
Edward, his tone icy and skeptical, interjected, his doubt palpable. "Vampires bearing progeny? Spare us your fabrications, my dear. You are no vampire, and these creatures you claim as your own are far from being your children."
Bella, her voice laced with a touch of indignation, swiftly reprimanded him. "Do refrain from labeling my cherished ones as monsters!"
She then proceeded to enlighten them, her words carrying an air of mystery. "For your enlightenment, I must inform you that I am no ordinary vampire.
Alice looked at the mysterious figure before her and couldn't help but ask, "What in the world are you?"
With a calm demeanor, the figure replied, "I am a hybrid."
Intrigued by this revelation, Carlisle leaned in and inquired, "A hybrid? Pray, do tell us more."
A smile played on the figure's lips as they began to share their extraordinary story. "Allow me to enlighten you. I came into this world as a unique being, a combination of a vampire, a werewolf, a witch, and a human. It was the year 1847 when I first took my breath in the enchanting town of Mystic Falls, Virginia. My mother, Lily Salvatore, was a human, while my biological father, Niklaus Mikaelson, is an Original Vampire Hybrid.
"How did Damian and Prue come into existence?" Alice asked, her curiosity piqued.
"I was just fifteen years old when my half-brother Damon returned home to visit after being away for quite some time," she began, reminiscing. "He brought along a friend, and surprisingly, we instantly clicked. Little did I know that this chance encounter would change my life forever. Before Damon left for his post, I found myself unexpectedly pregnant with Damien and Prue."
