Chapter 9: Banquet evening

Half an hour before the apero began, the girls put the appetizers in the grand salon, when everything was ready they went to the lords' rooms to pick them up. When everyone was gathered in the grand salon, Lucifer greeted his guests once again. Shagotte, Cana and Shinoa went around with the alcohol, while the others kept checking and restocking the buffet.

The lords, Lucifer and Draven, drank, ate and talked business. Later, when it was time for dinner, they went comfortably into the dining room. Saphyra assigned the guests to their respective places. The girls served the first course while Saphyra introduced it. They did the same with the second and third courses. When everyone was at the main course, they prepared the dessert buffet.

After a while, the last person put down the cutlery and the girls cleared the table. Lucifer confirmed that the buffet was open and the lords could help themselves. As soon as he said that, the lords rushed off as if they had not been given anything to eat. When everyone had eaten their fill, the clock already showed 9:30 pm. The children said goodbye and went to bed, and the others slowly withdrew, leaving only Lucifer, Draven, Lord Woodly and Lord Crevan in the dining room.

The gentlemen drank some more alcohol, when the clock struck 11 p.m. Lord Woodly got up from the table, "Gentlemen, I will now retire. I will see you tomorrow." He turned to Shinoa and waved his hand that she should finally go ahead. Shinoa, led Lord Woodley to his room. She went to the window and drew the curtains. Meanwhile, Woodley closed the door, turned the key in the lock and put the key in his suit. Approaching her, Shinoa turned to him. "Would you like anything else?" She asked the lord, he grinned, "your company." "I don't serve with that. I wish a good night."

Shinoa walked past him, but Woodly held her by the arm. "You go when I say." He said. "Let go of me!" Shouted at him, she tore herself away with all her might, unfortunately for her, she had too much momentum and stumbled backwards and fell on the bed.

Woodly grinned disgustingly and climbed into bed with her, trapping her torso between his legs and pulling her hands above her head, holding them in place with one hand. With the other hand he kneaded her breast.

"Take your hand away!" She shouted at him and tried to free herself. But Woodly kept going and bent down to her. Shinoa saw her only chance, she lifted her leg with full force and kicked him in the soft parts.

Woodly let go of her, holding his crown jewels and falling to the side. Shinoa tried to get out of bed as fast as she could and get to the door. But Woodly recovered faster than she thought, holding her leg in his demon stance, clawing his nails into her leg. "Not so fast." He growled. She kicked him in the torso several times, hoping he would let go. "Let go of me!" She shouted again and again.

Meanwhile in the corridor

Mazikeen ran past the door and heard the screams, she pressed the door handle several times, but in vain, suddenly there was silence in the room. She ran to her father. "Father!" She shouted. "Maz, you should be in bed by now. Go to your room." Ordered the king, "but I heard women screaming in Lord Woodley's room." Said she quickly. The king was horrified "What!?" "Someone screamed, I tried to get in but the door was locked, then there was a dull bang and it was quiet." Narrated Mazikeen.

Lucifer jumped up, beckoned two guards to follow him to the room. He pushed down the door handle, but as Mazikeen said, the door was locked. The guards kicked the door in and went into the room after Lucifer. Shinoa was lying unconscious on the floor with a laceration to her head. Lord Woodly had already torn off her clothes and was bent over her, licking her neck. Without Lucifer having to say anything, the guards pulled the lord away from Shinoa.

Lucifer took off his cape and placed it over her exposed body. "How dare you touch one of my Maid!" "That was yours? If I had known, I would have taken another." Said the lord innocently "You are no longer welcome as a guest. Get him out of my sight!" Ordered Lucifer.

The guards scooped Woodly out of the castle and put him in the carriage. Lucifer picked up Shinoa and walked with her to the station. "Cassandra, could you please check that nothing else happened besides the laceration." Cassandra led Lucifer to an empty room, "what do you mean?" she then asked, Lucifer placed Shinoa on the hospital bed and turned away, Cassandra carefully lifted the cape. "I'll take care of it right away."

Lucifer went out into the corridor. A shadowy figure appeared from the shadows in the corner. The figure bowed, "You summoned me, my king?" "Shadō, make sure Lord Woodly is no longer one of the seven most influential families. I don't care how you do it, as long as there are no references to the royal house. You have 24h." The figure smiled, "Consider the job as good as done." Shadō rose and disappeared into the shadows.

Lucifer paced restlessly up and down the corridor. Finally Cassandra came out, "except for the laceration on her head nothing happened, fortunately the wound is not that deep and will heal quickly, but to rule out a concussion I want to keep Shinoa under observation on the ward for the next 48 hours and until everything heals I'm writing her up sick." Lucifer nodded in agreement, "when she wakes up and should ask, you tell her that she was cleaning up the large salon with the others, she wanted to bring the glasses with the empty and half-full drinks, into the kitchen, tripped over a carpet wave and hit her head on the railing." Cassandra looked at Lucifer speechless for several seconds, "just do it. I don't want Shinoa to know what happened tonight." Commanded the king. Cassandra bowed silently and went back into the station.
