It was your first Christmas dating Ashton and he really wanted you to spend it with his family. You agreed and you're parents were okay with it because they knew you'd hadn't seen him in a long time. Plus you were going to spend New Years with your parents. You were incredibly nervous to meet his family for the first time, let alone spend Christmas with them. The butterflies in your stomach seemed to flutter harder as you drove closer and closer to Ashton's home.
After what seemed like a whole day of driving you finally arrived at the Irwin household. You got out of the car and grabbed your luggage and slowly followed Ashton inside. After Ashton had recieved his hugs it was your turn Anne-Marie squeezed you tightly as did Lauren and Harry. So far so good. You took a deep breath in order to try and calm yourself.
You and Ashton went upstairs and placed your luggage in his room before returning downstairs to the festivities. You began playing charades, and sang along to Christmas songs, and talked to his family. Things were going great. You then all sat down for Christmas dinner, you ate so much you felt like your stomach would pop!
You all retreated back to the living room and you snuggled with Ashton whilst Lauren sat next to you. Anne-Marie was to the left of you sitting in the chair and Harry was sitting on the floor. You all exchanged gifts. It was perfect!
You realised you'd been an idiot worrying so much. His family loved you and you loved them. It literally was the perfect day. You just hoped New Years with your family would go just as well.
