"well if it isn't han jisung" the man smiled but there was something hidden behind it. it didn't feel entirely genuine...

"it's nice to meet you mr lee" the blonde bowed deeply, feeling a little on edge. minho's body language was uncertain which made jisung even more nervous

"you're quite the beast on the court" he chuckled, setting down a briefcase and a bag of groceries onto the counter

"jisung was just leaving actually" minho abruptly spoke up walking over to the two

"in this weather? don't be so rude minho, our guest will be staying for dinner" he grinned, staring into minho's soul

"isn't that right jisung?" he turned towards the blonde asking the question in a way where there was only one answer. jisung didn't have a choice.

"yeah of course, I'd love to" the tense boy replied with a smile, he could see minho's piercing glare from the corner of his eye

he knew what minho told him, he knew he should've made up an excuse to leave. but there's no way he could've said no in that situation. there was no option...

"come sit down, i'm sure minho will cook us something nice" he encouraged jisung to sit on the bar stool, although the way he phrased it made it sound more like a threat

the blonde abided, taking a seat at the counter. he waited patiently as minho's dad walked over to the fridge, pulling out a bottle of soju and two glasses

"you drink don't you jisung?" the man asked setting down a glass in front of the boy

minho quietly sifted through the grocery bag pulling out a few ingredients and began to chop them. the entire time he watched the two like a hawk, his harsh eyes connecting with jisung's

"yeah i drink well" the blonde nodded as his little glass was filled with alcohol. minho's dad quickly drank his shot, turning to face the younger waiting for him to go next

jisung politely turned his head away swallowing the shot of warm liquid. to be honest he really didn't want to drink right now but he also didn't want to be rude

and plus minho's dad seemed kinda nice? yeah he was a little intimidating but there's nothing wrong with that

"so han jisung, the star player of straykids ey?" the man laughed, patting him on the shoulder

"i bet you're popular with the ladies" he stared weirdly at the blonde as if he was expecting some sort of reaction

i mean he wasn't wrong, but jisung didn't have even the slightest of interest in any of them

"haha yeah" jisung chuckled, awkwardly running a hand through his hair. there was something strange going on here

he glanced over at the brunette for a moment he had never seen someone cook so fast, he could tell minho was stressed. jisung still didn't understand why?

the atmosphere was intense

"do you have a girlfriend jisung?" minho's dad asked whilst refilling their glasses

"no i don't mr lee" he replied a little too quickly, he noticed the man's eyes narrow in thought

"...boyfriend then?" he added on with a blank expression. jisung didn't really know why but this felt very uncomfortable, he appreciated being given the option though

he couldn't feel minho's panicked eyes on him

"nope, not at the moment" jisung answered nonchalantly, only realising he had made a mistake after seeing minho's soul leave his body. he stared at the younger in fear at the words that just left his mouth
