Mä'zu and Neteyam look around for Lo'ak and Ao'nung but neither Mä'zu or Neteyam see them anywhere.

Frustration begins to settle in as Neteyam  continue searching, his worry growing with each passing moment. But then a sudden thought creeps in and he thinks that perhaps Lo'ak is simply hiding, avoiding the task of apologizing to Ao'nung.

And honestly, Neteyam  can sympathize with Lo'ak's  reluctance to apologize to Ao'nung, especially since Neteyam  himself doesn't particularly want to either.

Mä'zu feels a pang of worry as they fail to spot Lo'ak (and Ao'nung too, I suppose) anywhere. Her thoughts instantly go to a million worst case scenarios and she fidgets anxiously, her gaze darting around as she tries to spot any sign of Lo'ak.

Neteyam notices Mä'zu's restlessness and sees the worry etched on her face. He reaches out, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder, causing her to look up at him.

"You know, I have a feeling that Lo'ak's hiding somewhere, trying to avoid the whole apology thing." Neteyam  says gently, trying to ease his worries as much as hers.

Mä'zu nods, her eyes narrowing in thought.

"You're probably right. Lo'ak  hates the idea of apologizing to Ao'nung. It definitely sounds like something he'd do." Mä'zu says, and she can't blame her best friend for avoiding Ao'nung if this is the case.

Mä'zu sighs and presses her lips to a thin line, deciding she and Neteyam will apologise to Ao'nung later, and that Neteyam needs his wounds tended to.

In all fairness, Mä'zu also needs her wounds tended to as well but she isn't going to admit that.

Mä'zu briefly debates on finding Ronal or Kiri asking them to tend to Neteyam, but Mä'zu instead decides to tend to him herself.

After all, Mo'at has taught Mä'zu the basics of healing wounds and she always does have some medical supplies in the medium sized thigh bag she's almost always wearing.

The only time Mä'zu  doesn't wear it is when she's going in water as she doesn't want to get the herbs wet.

Mä'zu's eyes light up when she catches sight of the Metkayina forest and she tugs on Neteyam's hand and leads him to the Metkayina forest, while it's not like their forest at home but it brings them nostalgia.

Neteyam follows closely behind Mä'zu, a small smile on his face as they make their way towards the Metkayina forest. The familiar surroundings bring back memories of home, and he can't help but feel a sense of peace.

"This is nice. It kind of.. reminds me of home." Neteyam murmurs, looking around at the trees and vines.

Mä'zu nods in agreement, her eyes tracing over the somewhat familiar landscape. The sight brings a sense of comfort and familiarity, even though they're far from  their own forest. She smiles softly, savoring the nostalgic feeling the Metkayina forest brings.

"Yeah.." Mä'zu says in softly.

Neteyam looks back at Mä'zu, taking in the way the light hits her face.

'Beautiful. She's always beautiful.' Neteyam  thinks.

Mä'zu notices Neteyam's look, her own heart skipping a beat when she catches sight of the soft expression on his face, but she chooses not to comment on it just yet.

They weave their way through the Metkayina forest, stepping around roots and avoiding vines. It feels like a little piece of home in a faraway place.

Neteyam looks around, taking in the beauty of their surroundings. He catches sight of a small clearing among the trees, lit up by the sunlight.
