Now that Norm and Max returned to the Omatikaya and Ronal, Tsireya, Ao'nung and Rotxo also left, it's just the Sullys and Mä'zu now.

After Mä'zu's assures Neteyam multiple times that she's okay, and convincing him to let her go, she is now sitting with Kiri, rubbing her back soothingly and brushing hair out of her face.

"How are you feeling?" Mä'zu asks Kiri softly as she strokes her hair and rubs her back soothingly.

Kiri looks up at Mä'zu and smiles sweetly.

"I feel a lot better now." Kiri says softly.

"That's good." Mä'zu says with a reassuring smile.

"How are you feeling?" Kiri asks in return.

"I'm... doing okay." Mä'zu says softly.

"Really? You seem a bit... off. Something is still bothering you." Kiri probes.

"Just... a bit worried... about something." Mä'zu replies with a little smile as she strokes Kiri's hair.

"Worried about what?" Kiri asks with that sweet caring smile, hoping Mä'zu will open up to her.

"I think I'm getting really old because I don't remember visiting my family. All I remember is connecting to the tree and then having a seizure." Mä'zu explains.

Kiri's smile drops and her face becomes serious at the news.

"You're not getting old. You're almost sixteen! Not to mention, you've been going through a lot. Plus, that tree is extremely powerful and you just had a seizure. Your brain is probably a bit fried and all you did was connect with the tree. A little time for it to recover is all you need I think." Kiri rants.

"Maybe." Mä'zu mumbles and rubs her eyes tiredly.

Kiri sighs.

"Don't worry. You'll be alright." Kiri says with a soft smile and tries to reassure her.

Mä'zu offers Kiri a weak smile.

"Thanks, Kiri." Mä'zu says softly.

Mä'zu brushes some of Kiri's hair back and smiles softly.

"You're so pretty." Mä'zu says softly.

Kiri blushes at Mä'zu's compliment.

"Thank you." Kiri says softly, blushing a lot more.

"You're so pretty, too." Kiri adds, smiling fondly at her.

Mä'zu smiles again at the compliment and she giggles at the look on Kiri's face.

"You're beautiful, Mä'zu." Neteyam chimes in from nearby.

"Go away, lurker, this is Mä'zu and Kiri time." Kiri playfully scolds her brother.

"Fine, fine." Neteyam mutters and walks away from the duo.

Kiri watches Neteyam leave before she looks back at Mä'zu.

"Hey Kiri?" Mä'zu asks softly.

"Yeah?" Kiri asks softly.

"Do you think we'll ever go back to the forest?" Mä'zu asks.

"Don't get me wrong, I understand why we left but it's hard not to miss it." Mä'zu adds.

"I hope we do.. I think about it a lot, too. I'd really like to. I also understand why we left, but I also want to see the beautiful forest again. If we do, I hope it'll be in a peaceful situation." Kiri replies thoughtfully.

"The forest here is nothing like forest back home." Mä'zu states.

"It's a nice forest here. It's just, not our forest.. our forest was amazing." Kiri says in agreement, her eyes filled with nostalgia.
