Days passed and Ishaan carried on with his cold demeanor in front of everyone, unhidden. From taking Misha to office to spending nights in the same room, he did not miss a single opportunity to harbor his resentment towards her. However, his forced wife wasn't the only concern lingering in his mind for days right now.

Today's night was lively, winkling in the city lights, hustling with people and a partly cloudy sky playing hide and seek with the crescent. It was absolutely a stirring sight when a serene gust of wind blew across his cold skin, making the scenery even more soulful as he was sitting hundreds of meters above on the top of a building, all by himself, noiseless and alone.

Hanging his legs down out of the parapet, he sipped on a can bottle while staring down at the city; yet, nothing in particular. His attention completely drifted into another world and he couldn't see any of this glory at all.

He was preoccupied by his thoughts a long time ago.

'He needs to be captured.'

'He has done many crimes and broken many rules of our world.'

'His name is Ryan, he is a 362 year old vampire who's out on killing innocent people for no purpose.'

'You have to find him.'

Ishaan let out a deep breath of sigh before sipping on the can again. His memories shifted back to the night when he went to meet a black cladded man, who informed him about this all for the first time.

"That's why Avinash finally decided to inform you about this matter. He needs to be captured."

"And how would I search for him? This city is not small to just cross your world with a criminal."

"Unless you put in some effort and actually come across him."

"Akshat what you're saying is practically impossible. With just a mere image and name I cannot find someone I've never crossed paths with." Ishaan snarled before continuing, "And besides, have the witches refused to help them that you have to come and ask to find someone I've no idea about? I bet they know and can do this work better than me."

The former tsk-ed, "I know witches can do this better but they're not here. It's a festival and they have left for Skylan Manor before the council came. We can't contact them, it's sacred, you know we can't interfere."

"And you didn't even try?"

"How do you think I was able to find that he is in the same city?"

Ishaan understood what he meant and whined after, "Then ask her again."

"Are you stupid? It's their sacred festival for which they've gathered. I called her once doesn't mean I can do it twice. It's against the rules and on top of that I don't want to get banished from her world forever. So I would rather stay in my limits than interfere."

"Okay stop lecturing me!"

"You asked for it."

They both became silent after firing at each other, and started thinking about something rational that can actually help them to find this criminal in the current situation here.

A few minutes later, the younger walked up to his car and stood leaning on it while staring at the road in front of him blankly. Seeing this, Akshat followed after him slowly and copied the same before he began.

"Avinash told me to tell you something else too."

Ishaan shrugged his hand, gesturing him to continue.
