A pouty Misha was playing with the stone on the road while waiting for Ishaan, though highly doubtful of his arrival today.

She didn't know about his whereabouts since he left the office in the afternoon, leaving her high with uncertainty if she should really wait or just go home now.

Nevertheless she patiently stayed when a car passed from in front of her and stopped momentarily after, gaining her attention. She looked at the familiar vehicle from distance before moving towards it and settled inside.

Shutting the door after she glanced at Ishaan, complaining softly. "I thought you forgot."

Ishaan just started the car in reply and drove towards the home. Looking at his straight face Misha suddenly lost her interest in talking. She felt like talking to a stone would be a better alternative than him and turned her head in disappointment.

However her eyes didn't fail to notice the new clothes he's changed into. They were looking more professional this time, fresh and new as she couldn't help but ask again.

"Did you go somewhere to change your clothes during the day?"

"I see someone's getting chatty today."

She immediately sealed her lips, regretting speaking to him internally.

"I was just asking because you didn't come wearing these in the morning. Who knows, you may have suddenly realized how much of a cartoon you were looking and thought of 'let's go get my clothes changed.'"

She almost whispered the cartoon part but Ishaan heard every word of it clearly.

The mood inside the car shifted from ignoring each other to death- to roast as if this was their only chance they could get to do that with each other.

"Who are you calling a cartoon?" He asked in disbelief, though eyes still fixed on the road.

It was indeed adacious of her to call him like that on the face, but somehow Misha felt the need to say that. She felt uplifted and satisfied after looking at his face which was still unable to digest this fact.

"Everyone was lowkey snickering at you in the office today."

Ishaan scoffed. "You know how to observe, but not carefully. They were all gawking at me! No matter what type of clothes I wear they are always stunned by my looks because I look handsome in each of them."

Misha eyed him from top to bottom, skeptically, as if she wasn't only just judging him but his ancestors also. Not wanting to exaggerate this conversation into a fight, she stated lastly. "Whatever you think, you did change them."

Silence filled the car as both of them didn't talk after that. A while later Misha stared out of the window, speaking again.

"I really thought you forgot to pick me up today, and I have to come on my own."

"Wouldn't your pretty mother in law kill me if I skip a day? After all, we're doing this for her only."

Misha glared at Ishaan before scrunching her eyes and shut them irritatedly. It ended up being her fault again. Turning her head back at the window, she admitted what she seriously wanted to say to him.

"If in any case you're not able to do this, please let me know beforehand." She paused. "I don't want to wait for you at the stop all night, contemplating if you're going to come or not."

This time, Ishaan didn't reply anything and just looked at her from the corner of his eyes, watching her as she slowly leaned on the window and closed her eyes, falling asleep.

A few minutes later the traffic signal of the road turned red, causing the vehicle to slowly stop as he took a quick moment to peek at her properly. She was resting her head comfortably on the window, unaware of someone's eyes piercing onto her mesmerizing features for the first time without hatred in his eyes.
