We were all in the Mare Stream heading to Zephyr Heights annual Equestria Cutie Blossom Bash this event was to celebrate all of the ponies that had gotten their cutie marks that year the Mare Stream gave a large rock "Aah!" yelled Misty stumbling "Are you okay, Misty?" asked Sunny "Oh, yeah! I'm just— Ah! ...still finding my balance!" answered Misty "The Mare Stream can take some getting used to. At least we're taking you on a secret surprise adventure! Are you excited?" asked Sunny "Oh, yeah! Definitely! Uh, so, um... what is it?" asked Misty "We're going... to Zephyr Heights for the annual Equestria Cutie Blossom Bash!" I said "You'll love it!" said Pipp "Yippee!" said Izzy "Cutie Blossom Bash? What is that?" asked Misty "It's only the cutest springtime celebration of all that is fresh and new. I'm talking flowers, blossoms, bunnies, fashion! The looks you will see, Misty. The looks!" explained Pipp "And?" I asked "But more importantly, it's an official ceremony and celebration for all of the ponies that have gotten their new cutie marks that year. A day of honor!" said Hitch "Yeah, and it's kinda cool how we're finally combining the tradition we've all grown up with" said Zipp "All though in the past we called it a Cute Ceanera "I love the Blossom Bash! It's so... springy! See? I've already crafted seven flower corsages. I only need to make a few hundred more" squealed Izzy "A few hundred?!" yelled Misty "Yeah! For all the ponies who are going to cheer you on!" said Pipp Misty then went into one of her nervous panic attacks were she talked really fast "Oh, wow. Okay. It'll be okay. I can just avoid all those other ponies, right?" she stopped and took a deep breath and continued "I'll just keep my head down and blend in. It'll be smooth sailing. Yup." said Misty a loud crash of thunder then filled the sky as lighting shot across "Quick, turn!" yelled Hitch "I got this!" said Zipp making some quick turns "Uh... Oh, no. I just jinxed the whole "smooth sailing" thing, didn't I?" gulped Misty a bolt of lighting shot straight at us I quick use my magic to create a shield around us the mare stream rocked as the bolt collided with my shield "Your magic never stops me from being amazed by it" said Sunny

Hitch gave a sigh "Thinkin' about Sparky again?" asked Izzy in a concern tone "Yeah. Ever since his run-in with Opaline, he's been so tired. I didn't wanna drag him all the way to Zephyr Heights, but I miss him" said Hitch "Well, at least he's resting with Grandma Figgy" I said "You're right. Grandma is the best at making anypony feel better" said Hitch "See? Sparky is in great hooves. You just gotta get your mind off things" said Izzy "I know how we can do that! Let's go around and share our cutie mark stories with Misty! I'll go first!" said Sunny "Back when I was a little filly, I didn't have many friends. But my dad always said, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! ...And sell it to raise money for the library!" So I did! My lemonade was a hit! I sold almost every cup right away. But two ponies wanted the last one. They started arguing. But then I stepped in to help. I poured half of the last of the lemonade into two cups so they both could have it They realized they were fighting for no reason. That's when my cutie mark appeared! My dad told me it's because I helped those ponies put aside their differences. He was so proud! That spring, I got to trot the stage in our Cutie Blossom Bash!" said Sunny with a giggle "Ah, it's one of my favourite memories" said Sunny "Mmm, now I want lemonade" said Hitch "Me next! My story..' began Zip but Pipp cut in "Well, technically our story" she said Zipp continued "...starts back home in Z.H." "Before we had magic, I was always crunching numbers trying to figure out exactly how Pegasi could fly again. But one day, I had this epic breakthrough moment I jumped from a great height and used some of my park wall skill to glide I could tell that I was so close to flying. It felt amazing! And sure, it was scary, but no other Pegasus had tried it before me It was awesome! That's the day I got this lil' wonder-bolt!" said Zipp Pipp the cleared her throat "And don't leave out what happened next Watching my sister soar, I'd never seen anything like it. She was so courageous! And that gave me the confidence to perform for the first time ever Pipp started to vocalize Make your markIt's your sparkYour cutie markOhhh, yeah!"Pipp?" said the young Zipp "Pipp!" yelled a Pegasus "Hooray!" said another "Hey, that's cute! I'm using it!" said the young Pipp the scene then showed Pipp and Zipp with the cutie marks and Queen Haven blowing her nose into Cloudpuff "Kinda stole the spotlight there, sis" said Zipp "It's not my fault! You were the one who was so inspiring" said Pipp Zipp looked a hitch who was bouncing in his seat "You look like you're about to burst, buddy. Wanna tell yours?" asked Zipp "Do I!" he yelled "I was playing hoofball on the beach with some colts when this filly asked to join us. But they wouldn't let her play. They just kept shouting, "No fillies allowed!" "So I did what any decent pony would do. I ditched the meanies and played with her. And then... I got my mark! Because the only peace of mind is to be kind" said Hitch "My turn! Ooh! So, it all begins back in Bridlewood, during the days of yore, on the eves of the Translucent Moonstone Moon...Moon... Moon..." she echoed "Doodle-oodle-oodle-oodle-loo... Flashback!" "There was this really sad-looking junk pile in the middle of our forest that just kept growing and growing. But I didn't see it as junk. I saw it as stuff that just needed some love. I remade everything into a big teapot statue! Then, everypony saw that maybe they'd judged the junk a little too harshly. "Hey, thanks! I'm just a unicorn that loves recycling. Uni... cycling... Uni-cycling! "And then BAM! I got my mark!" said Izzy "What about you Xavier?" asked Sunny "Oh I..." I looked back at my mark it was the commonwealth star with the southern cross stars basically the stars on the Australian flag "I got this mark back when a got my first victory protecting what I cared about this mark show how much I care" I said "What was the victory?" asked Izzy "Well I defused a bulling with out violence" I said Ohhhh" said Izzy "Wow! Great stories! But, um, they all ended with a big event where you had to stand in front of a lot of ponies?" said Misty "Yup! Now it's your turn to do the same. And it's going to be the biggest, most grand one yet! Look!" said Sunny a trumpet fanfare singled our arrival "There's so many ponies here. Be brave, Misty. I don't wanna ruin anything for them. I can do this" said Misty psyching herself up "Aren't you soooo thrilled?" asked Pipp "Um, it's all so new!" said Misty giving a nervous chuckle Queen haven seems to have been waiting for us "My angels! You've arrived! I was so worried, I nearly had to send Cloudpuff to track you down again! I'm thrilled to have you here, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm a teensy bit stressed" said Haven to Zipp and Pipp some thunder rumbled "A problem with the crystals again?" asked Zipp "Oh, stars, no. It's just spring showers. But if it rains, then everything will be ruined!" said Haven "I can most certainly help with that!" offered Hitch "Me, too! We're problem-solving pros!" said Zipp "Really? You'd do that for me?" asked Haven "Of course! We promise to make sure this event runs seamlessly and that everything is as right as rain! Uh, or "not rain", in this case" said Hitch "Ah, thank hoofness! Follow me" said Haven has she escorted us inside
