As we formed a plan Spike groaned then collapsed "Spike! What happened?!" asked Sunny "He just collapsed!" said Blaize "I'm not feeling so great either..." groaned Luxxe "This must be some kind of pony spell. Is this a-a trap?" said Fountain "No, it's the Dragon Stone! It has to be! If Opaline has dragons under her control, she's using the stone to do it!" said Misty "If she uses up all of the Dragon Stone's magic, that could—" I began "That could put dragons back to sleep for another thousand moons. We can't let that happen. Dragons! Come with me! That stone doesn't belong to this Opaline! And if we're gonna have any chance at stopping her, we're gonna need all the dragon power we have left!" said Spike "Spike. What about "the One"? The hatchling?" asked Luxxe "What?! No! You can't! He's just a baby!" said Hitch "He is stronger than you know" said Spike "Hitch, he's right. Sparky's the one who filled up the Dragon Stone in the first place. He's why Opaline's Fire Alicorn magic is so powerful" I said "And if she got her magic through Sparky..." began Sunny "...maybe he's the one who can take it all back." said Spike "He is strong. But he's still my... my little..." strutted Hitch "Believe me, he always will be. But trust us." said Spike Hitch looked at Spike he then took off his badge and gave it to Sparky "You got this, bud." he said "Spike, be careful" called Sunny "Don't worry about me, Princess Sunny. This isn't my first rodeo." said Spike "Protect your ponies!" he called "I'm not... I'm not a princess!" called Sunny "If you say so!" laughed Spike "I'm gonna gather everypony by the tree!" said Hitch "We'll meet you back there as soon as we check on the crystals. And Hitch? Promise me you'll be careful, too." I said "Hoof to heart." he said he then got his microphone "Everypony, listen up! I know you're scared. But we're stronger together. We're safer if we're together! Everypony, to the Together Tree!" he ordered
We got to the Brighthouse the saw that the Unity Crystals were still shoot out the Prisbaeam "Phew!" said Sunny "She must not be able to enter the Brighthouse still. She never could do that" said Misty "Good. That means that Twilight and my protection spell is still intact. At least here" I said "Wait!" said Zipp as she flew down stairs to her detective board "Wait for what?! Where are we going?! Zipp. Zipp. Equestria to Zipp! [ Zipp. Zipp! ZIPP! What are you doing?! Studying?!" said Pipp "Showing you this! Ha! Ever since Elder Flower told us about the connected roots, I haven't been able to stop thinking about this picture!" said Zipp "It's from the library back home in Zephyr Heights!" said Zipp showing Pipp the picture "So... what am I looking at?" asked Pipp "Underneath the tree. Roots that look like they power the ponies' cutie marks, right?" said Zipp "Oh, I think I see where you're going" I said "Three trees. The Maretime Bay Together Tree, Misty's Together Tree in Zephyr Heights, and the Wishing Together Tree in Bridlewood. Three trees. Somehow she tapped into the connection between the three, but I just can't figure out how—" began Zipp "It's not three trees. It's four" Misty cut in "What?!" we yelled "There's a fourth tree. Opaline has her own magic tree in her throne room. But it's not beautiful like the Together Trees. It's dark and twisty" Misty explained "It's supposed to feed on unity magic, but it never worked because Opaline never found unity with anypony She's never had a friend like—" began Misty "Elder Flower!" yelled Zipp "She's not friends with Elder Flower?!" gasped Izzy "Uh, no! what Zipp means is Elder Flower said they're all connected. If our cutie mark magic is flowing through the roots of the trees..." I explained "...then Opaline must be able to reach them through her own tree!" finished Sunny "So, she can travel through the trees and she's using the trees to steal the cutie marks?!" said Zipp "Whoa! This is a lot! Um... Hey, where did Hitch say he was gathering all the ponies again?" asked Izzy At Maretime Bays together Tree
"See? It's cool. We're safe here together. Everything is—" began Hitch but the the Tree glowed and tentacles vines shoot out of it steal Cutie marks "Not good! Everything is not good! Ah! My essence!" said Sprout
