Chapter 19 Return Of An Old Friend

The Mare Stream flew though the sky heading towards the Dragon Lands "Everything is Gonna Be Okay" was blasting though the speakers "Could you turn that down, Pipp? I can barely hear myself navigate" yelled Zipp "What?! I can't hear you over this "Intense Music for our Trip to the Dragon Lands" playlist I made!" Pipp yelled back from the back of the Mare Stream I got up from where I was sitting waked over and turned the music off "Thank you" said Zipp "Hey! I was just trying to keep the mood light. It's so tense in here" Pipp "That's 'cause last time we visited the Isle of Scaly, there were no dragons. This time, who knows what we'll find?" said Hitch "I just hope we get there before Opaline" said Misty I went back to what I was doing Sunny had given me the amulet from the necklace she had got from the Breezies to take a look at "So what do you think?" Sunny asked me "Well it's definitely magical that I can say but that all I know" I said handing it back to Sunny we bust though the cloud and saw a rocky wall with a small opening Zipp turned the Mare Stream to it side and flew into the tunnel brought light filled the tunnel the map to the island of scaly then vanished "Huh? Spark Alert! We have a map situation again!" said Zipp "Step back, step back! Dragon magic incoming!" said Izzy hold Sparky who belched his fire on the map making it reappear the light turned on and we saw a wall "Whoops! It's gonna be a hard left!" said Zipp "Hold on to your cutie marks!" cried Sunny as Zipp turned the wheel we all flew to one side off the Mare Stream unlike for me since I was furthers from the right everypony crashed into me after a few bumps we got to the end of the tunnel and arrived at the Island of Scaly "We made it!" said Izzy pressing her face against the glass "It was so much easier when we just trotted through a magic door last time" said Misty "Less painful as well" I groaned "At least we can snap some great aerial shots" said Pipp with a squeals grabbing her her phone started beeping "Ugh! My battery is dead!" she whined she then plugged  it in to the power cord on the Mare Stream which was connect3ed to the Lantern  there was a spark and the Mare Stream lost all power and we started to fall we all screamed as we deserted well Izzy laughed  "Everypony take their stations! This could be a crash landing!" I said "I have an idea! It might work, but it might not. But I like those odds!" said Izzy putting on some goggles she open the window and started to blow up balloons "Everypony, hold on!" said Zipp we hit the ground which was bouncy we then realized that Izzy had blown up four big balloons to break the landing which popped after we hit them "It's absolutely random How  that worked" I said "You never know when you'll need a really, really big balloon. That's why I have 'em at all times. Whew!" said Izzy "Great landing, everypony. Best yet" said Hitch has we exited the Mare Stream "Well, we're back! I can't believe we did it!" said Sunny "Now let's not pat ourselves on the back too much. These dragons have been asleep for ages. They still could be" I said "Let's wake 'em up!" cried Izzy "We're HEEEEEERE!" sang Pipp a huge dragon then flew down "But why... are you here?" It asked "You are trespassing on the Isle of Scaly. Who are you?" It asked "I'm Xavier this is Sunny. This is Hitch..." I started t introduce us Hitch  chuckled nervously"...Izzy..." Izzy laughed "...Pipp..." "Hi" said Pipp "...Zipp "...and Misty' i said finished Misty gave a high pitched squeak "Okay... Why are you here?" asked the Dragon "Uh, to help" I said "Pretty sure we don't need your help" said the Dragon "Actually... you do. There is an evil Alicorn that wants to steal your dragon magic. We want to stop her" I said "Pony leader, I'm Blaize. Let's speak in private" they said "Oh, uh, Blaize, I'm not the—" I stated but Blaize ignored me "This way!" said Blaize as we walked more dragons join us "Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Izzy! We flew here on the Mare Stream, which might be broken. I wanted to make a good impression, so I crafted these charms for you. They have our names on them so you can remember who your new friends are. What are your names?" she asked "I'm Luxxe! You made this? I love it!" said Luxxe "Hoof-to-heart, Luxxe!" said Izzy another dragon licked the gem on it "Ew, yuck!" it said "Leaf, be nice to them. They brought presents" said another Dragon "I want a good one! Are they all the same, Tumble?" said the Dragon called Leaf "I'm Fountain. What are you doing?" asked the dragon to Pipp who was holding up her phone "Hi, I'm Pipp. I'm just trying to find a signal" she said "Ugh! My phone is really acting up" she said "Um, signal? Uh, I don't know if we have that here. Also, what is a phone?" asked Fountain Pipp gasped with a scream "W-What did you just say to me?!" said Pip with a stutter "Okay, so... Name – Tumble. Age – dragon age. Current questions? These. When did you all wake up?" asked Zipp "When the evil one came!" said Tumble "Evil one"?  Opaline!" said Zipp "Her magic shook the Isles, and she captured Lava and Jade" said Tumble "Opaline captured two of your friends?! How?!" asked Zipp "It takes us dragons weeks to awaken from a magical hibernation that deep" said Tumble "She attacked when you were half asleep? That sounds like Opaline" said Misty "Our shimmers haven't been too bright since then. Look" said leaf showing us there scales "That is very bad!" said Izzy "Well said, pony" said Fountain "How strong is this Opaline?" asked Tumble "Do you think Lava and Jade are okay?" asked Leaf "I hope so" said Misty
