Nature selfie!" she cried taking a selfie she then tripped on a bed of yellow flowers dropping all her flowers "My natural beauty forage haul!" she screamed "Sheesh! Watch where you're going, plants! Ugh, that really hurts!" she ranted she then saw her hooves shining gold "What the hay? That inkthistle shined my hooves so bright, I can see my own reflection! [ My plant-finder app didn't tell me it could do that! This gives me an idea. Whoa-ho-ho, mama! I think my future's gonna be bright! I never say "mama". Now I know this is a good idea!" she said a foul smell from the flowers float to her muzzle "Mmm... Huh... Little fragrant. But look at that shine!" she said
Pipp burst though the doors of mane Melody "Jazz, look! To spruce up the place!" she said hold out the flowers "Oh, these are..." began Jazz but after a sniff she gaged "Ugh! ...Nice! They're nice! What's the occasion?" asked Jazz "Let me answer that question with a question. Ever seen hooves this shiny?" asked Pipp holding out her hoof to Jazz "My, that is bright! You could power a lighthouse with that shimmer!" said Jazz "And it's all because of this perfect plant I plucked! It's a miracle beauty discovery cropping up all over Bridlewood Forest!" chucked Pipp "This has potential! Which is great, because our sales have been dropping ever since our last failed promotion" said Jazz "Huh. Maybe using actual ice cream as a face mask treatment wasn't that great of an idea" said Pipp "Yeah... no. It wasn't" said Jazz "But those shiny hooves could redeem us. Let's test it out! Who will be our guinea pony?" asked Jazz they turned to Zipp who was scanning the saloon in her detective gear "Zipp!" said Pipp Zipp gasped in surprise "It's your lucky day! You are the recipient of a free luxury hooficure treatment! Oh! We can't wait to know what you think of this great shiny find I came across – inkthistle!" said Pipp Zipp gave a sniff and held in a gag "You okay?" asked Jazz Zipp coughed "Uh, yeah. That was from something else. Can't do the hoof thing! I'm busy! Gotta run!" said Zipp "Uh, busy with what?" asked Pipp "Investigating! Bye!" said Zipp running out the door "Bleh! That stuff stinks! Bleh!" said Zipp Sunny right behind her came to the salon as soon as she walked though the door Pipp pulled her aside "Sunny! Lucky you! You get to be the first pony to try our new, all-natural luxury hooficure treatment!" said Pipp "I do? Ah! Okay! Whoa!" said Sunny as soon as she smelled the polish she started to gag "So? What do you think?" asked Pipp Sunny continued to with moans, and coughs "Don't worry, Sunny. I know this inkthistle plant itself has a little bit of a... funky aroma at first, but the incredible hoof cream I've made out of it is scentless. The perfect, luxurious touch for those seeking a top notch hooficure with lasting shine!" said Pipp "You're right! It's... kind of... nice!" said Jazz with a strained face "Yup! Just, uh, super pleasant!" said Sunny Pipp gave a high pitched giggle "I'm so excited to start selling these treatments! I must practice my sales pitch Hello, my glamour ponies! This special new treatment is guaranteed to make your hooves shine as bright as your sparkle! Get it while you can! It's a Mane Melody limited-time-only exclusive!" said Pipp "Sounds great, Pipp! We're gonna have so many sales!" said Jazz she then said in a hushed tone to Sunny "Sorry it stinks. But you look great" she said "I feel great! And look at that shine! Ah! Good luck with the launch. And, um, maybe crack a window?" suggested Sunny "Good idea!" said Jazz as Sunny left Jazz through open a window and took a huge breath in she looked back a Pipp who was humming Jazz gave a nervous laugh laughing nervously Back at the Brighthouse Zipp was going though some clues "Hmmm... There's gotta be something else here" she said she then smelled a scent coming from Sunny's hooves as she came in "Ugh! Oh, no! She got to you?" said Zipp Sunny slummed onto a chair "I just wanted to help. And the smell kinda goes away. Or maybe I'm just used to it. Uh, what exactly are you doing?" asked Sunny "My leads have all run cold. I've read that Alicorns book like a hundred times, and asked Xavier about everything he knows but half of this stuff didn't existed before and certain things still aren't adding up about the past we've all been taught" said Zipp "My dad always used to say, "The past is something we'll never stop discovering." said Sunny "Sunny, that's it! Your dad was definitely onto something with his research, right? Do you have any old things that Argyle left lying around? Stuff that might have a clue?" asked Zipp "Well, we lost a lot when the lighthouse was destroyed and Xavier and I didn't find much I do still have a few things. But I've gone through them a million times before" said Sunny "But with fresh eyes and open hearts and minds and clear heads and the help of a master sleuth..." said Zipp "Okay, we can try. Maybe my dad would've liked that. I'll go dig them up right now" said Sunny
Back at Mane Melody Pipp was live streaming "Casual viewers and Pippsqueaks alike! Have I got something great for you! It's the special deluxe pampering you've been needing! Treat yourself! You deserve only the best! And we've got it here at Mane Melody! Guaranteed to make your hooves shine brighter than a Bridlewood crystal during the Lumi-Bloom!" she said "Good thing ponies can't smell through the phone" said Jazz
Cut to back at the Brighthouse A/N: Yes I wrote that "There it is! Gimme a boost!" said Sunny to Zipp as she push her to the top shelf were Sunny's dad's old stuff was "Got it! Whoa! Aah!" as Sunny fell on to Zipp I came running in "What happened I heard screaming and a loud crash?" I said "We were just trying to get the stuff from the top shelf" said Sunny "Right you know Zipp probably could've just flown up there" I said walking away "I can't believe I over looked the fact I can fly" said Zipp she the saw a scrap of old paper "What do you suppose it is?" she asked "A piece of a map?" asked Sunny "Hmmm... All I can see is the word... "scale"?" said Zipp "Sometimes, maps list distances for scale" guessed Sunny "Hmmm... I'm not sure" said Zipp "Well, my dad and I used to sketch maps of imaginary places for fun all the time. It's probably nothing" said Sunny "Maybe so, but a detective never fully abandons a clue. It might lead us somewhere" said Zipp "Where? It's not just gonna fall into our laps" said Sunny the rest of the map fell of the shelf and hit Zipp in the head "Or it could be our heads" said Zipp they check to see if the piece fit it did perfectly "Yes!" they cried
