Zipp and Pipp ran out and saw Misty "Misty!" said Zipp "She took my cutie mark" said Misty "She took everypony's" said Pipp "What are we gonna do without them?" asked Misty "Cutie marks aren't the only thing that makes us special" said Zipp "And nopony can take away what makes us special on the inside" said Pipp "You said that" said Zipp "But I just feel so helpless" said Misty the doors open and and Queen Haven the Guards and all the other pegasus walked out "H-Hey! Get away from the tree! You'll make Opaline stronger!" cried Zipp "Zipp, are you sure about that?" asked Pipp "Of course I'm sure! We know that the trees are connected! And then the roots - they're leeching the power from the ponies!" said Zipp "I think we might have it backwards. Look. Do those ponies look like they're losing their powers? No. They look happy!" said Pipp point it out to Zipp "Like their happiness is what gives the trees their power?" questioned Zipp "Their friendship! This tree right here! It grew out of the true friendship you ponies showed me on the day of the Cutie Blossom Bash!" said Misty "And the tree in Maretime Bay! It grew when all of us worked together!" said Pipp "The ponies' unity powers the trees! We have to tell Sunny and Xavier before it's too late!" said Zipp "There's no way we can get there faster than Opaline! How are we gonna tell them?!" asked Misty "We could... just call" said Pipp holding out her phone "Oh Right" said Misty
They went with a group chat everypony's face appeared "Hello? Hello?!" said Hitch "Ah-yell-o!" went Izzy "Pipp! Are you all okay?!" I asked "I sang a song to distract Opaline, and it almost worked!" said Pipp "We have a new plan. Instead of staying away from the trees, we need everypony in Equestria to join together at them." said Zipp "We might not have cutie mark magic anymore, but Opaline can't take our friendships." said Misty "And that's true pony magic." said Pipp "Zipp, I trust your instincts. Hitch, gather the Maretime Bay ponies! Zipp, Pipp, and Misty, you round up Zephyr Heights! Izzy?" I said "Bridlewood ponies to the Wishing Tree! On it!" said Izzy "I know you ponies can do it. We're going to Opaline. Alone." said Sunny "What?!" asked Hitch "No!" said Misty "It's too dangerous!" said Pipp "Nopony is alone who has friends. We'll be okay. Hoof to heart." I said "Hoof to heart" they said back "The time has come! I have nearly all of the magic in Equestria! And once I take down Sunny Starscout, and Xavier Smith I'll have the last of the cutie mark magic and the Unity Crystals at once!" Laughed Opaline "Opaline!" we yelled "And here they are now. Right on schedule" said Opaline before we could react she grabbed me slammed me into the ground into a cervices and started to close it up crashing me "You have to stop this!" yelled Sunny "Stop this?" laughed Opaline "It's already over!" she said my cutie mark then flew out of the hole and onto Opalines necklace "I have all of the magic in Equestria! Except... this little bit right here" she pointed at Sunny "You don't have to do this. And you don't have to be alone. We can all live in unity." said Sunny "Oh, I'm not alone. You're here. And you're just like me. You want power, too. It's what all Alicorns want" said Opaline "Ugh! You don't know anything about me!" said Sunny "Oh, don't I? You don't study magic and collect powerful artifacts? You don't keep the Unity Crystals in your lair, locked away behind a magic spell?" explained Opaline "I've watched you. You reawakened all the magic in Equestria. And look at you! You got more of it than any of your friends!" said Opaline "That's not what I wanted!" said Sunny "I just wanna protect my friends and understand magic!" said Sunny "You seek knowledge. I see. And tell me, little pony - what is knowledge? It's power!" said Opaline "I'm not like you!" yelled Sunny they both blast magic at each other I tried to move but a was to weak and quit voice in my head called out "Xavier " ("Twilight") I thought "Opaline can not win don't give in to a future of fear and control you are a hero of Equestria" I opened my eyes they were glow white I blasted out of the hole Opaline couldn't believe it Magic energy swirled around me "YOU CANNOT WIN" my voice boomed Opaline dodged my next magical blast and focused on Sunny and trapped her by her legs "Fine! If you really don't care about power, then watch me take it all!" she said "No! Ah! Please!" said Sunny but Opaline took her cute mark Sunny Alicorn power disappeared and she fell to the fall now with all of the power Opaline blast me out of the sky I land in a hump next to Sunny "Now I've got the full set! I win! I am the Fire Alicorn! I... AM... POWER! And nothing can stop me from taking your precious Unity Crystals either! I'll shut down every protection spell in Equestria! at the Brighthouse the last of the Prisbeam faded away the protection spell failed and the Unity Crystals fall apart dark clouds started to form all over Equestria "And I'll rule over you little, powerless ponies... FOR ALL ETERNITY!" said laughed At Maretime Bay the ponies that had gathered around the Together Tree heard her evil laugh as lightning stuck across the sky Seashell walked up to the Tree and started tapping her hoof on it creating a tone and started to sing
