"Latte."

"Bubble tea." Haebin looked at Sehun. He looked at her. Then, both of them burst into a laugh.

Yixing and Minseok looked at each other cluelessly.

"What's wrong with you two? Suddenly laughing and all." Minseok questioned before shaking his head.

They were currently at Sehun's cafe, Vivi's Mini Cafe. Honestly, Haebin didn't understand why Sehun named his cafe like that. Why would someone name his cafe after his dog?

"Just the two of you, today?" It was Yixing who asked this time. He was preparing the drinks while Minseok was busy cleaning the dishes.

"Just the two of us, of course. Who else do you want us to come with?" Haebin questioned, reaching for the bubble tea that Yixing held out.

She rarely drank bubble teas, unlike Sehun whose life seemed to be dependent on them. The guy, on the other hand, didn't always drink lattes, which caused her to wonder what made him suddenly choose the drink.

Change of taste maybe. Haebin thought.

"Well, you usually come with your partner, right? Where's Jongin?" Haebin's smile immediately died when Yixing mentioned the name. The name of the person she's trying to forget.

"Zhang Yixing! I already told you, didn't I?" Haebin tried to control her expression by plastering a thin smile, watching Yixing who was rubbing his head after being hit by Minseok.

"What did you tell me?" Yixing showed his confused face while Haebin remained static until Sehun nudged her elbow making her look at him.

"Come on, let's sit over there," Haebin replied with a nod and they walked side by side before making themselves comfortable at a small table in the corner of the cafe.

They fell into an awkward silence. Haebin sipped on her bubble tea while looking at Sehun. She then let out a quiet laugh as she saw the expression on his face which she thought was adorable. The guy's mouth was visibly twitching, but not a single word came out of it.

Sehun was always like that whenever he hesitated.

Haebin definitely knew that he wanted to say something to make her feel better, but she also knew that he was not someone who's good with words. So, she decided to start talking first.

"Why did you order a latte? Didn't you say latte is too lame to be a drink?" Sehun looked up almost immediately. He probably didn't think that Haebin would be the one who picked up the conversation first.

"Erm," He was silent for a moment, thinking of an answer.

"What about you? Why did you order bubble tea? Didn't you say bubble tea is a drink for kids?" Sehun retorted by asking her back.

Haebin rolled her eyes, but the question actually made her think the reason.

Why did I order the bubble tea?

"We both know the answer, Hun." She unconsciously replied, her voice was noticeably sad.

She looked up to see Sehun who was also looking at her. As their eyes met, even just for a moment, the world seemed to stop spinning and the time stopped ticking. It felt like there was only them who were expressing their feelings through their eyes, both of them were engrossed in telling their own stories.

Indeed, they both knew the answer.

To make it simple, lattes are Jongin's favourite while bubble teas were a must whenever Sehun went out for a date with Sooyoung.

"We're good, Haebin. Everything will be okay." Haebin could feel the tears that were coming when Sehun smiled blankly at her.

She could understand him. She also knew how painful it is to be separated from someone you love.

"Yeah, we're good," Haebin replied with a sweet, but forced smile.

After spending time at Sehun's cafe, Haebin went out for a walk alone, going through every alley in Myeongdong while trying all the street food that caught her attention.

After a few hours of walking and filling in her stomach, she finally stopped at an intersection, waiting for the green traffic light to light up. Her right hand was still holding the iced tea she bought when her sight started to become blurry.

The lights that had been shining brightly in the night of Seoul, now were being mixed as tears began to well up.

To be honest, she hadn't moved on.

Every moment she was in, it reminded her of Jongin. Every step she took, it felt like Jongin's still by her side.

Kim Jongin, what have you done to me?

She roughly wiped her tears.

Stop crying, Haebin. There are many things you can do to forget someone. Plus, that someone you're trying to forget is a man. A jerk at that.

The red light finally turned green, pulling her out of her thoughts.

Just as she was about to step forward, she heard the sound of car horns, blasting from the other side of the road. Her head automatically turned to the source of the sound.

From a distance, a tall man dressed in dark clothing was seen staggering in the middle of the road. Haebin unconsciously let out a small scream when the man's body almost got hit by a speeding car.

As the man came closer to where she was standing, Haebin's eyes went wide.

"Oh Sehun?" A familiar name slipped out of her mouth.

Without thinking any further, she ran while shouting the name of her friend. At first, she wasn't sure whether it was him or not, but her doubt was washed away as soon as she reached the side of the road where the guy was blindly crossing.

Haebin quickly pulled him to the sidewalk, grabbed his shoulders, and checked every inch of his body, looking for any injury. The iced tea she was holding just now had disappeared to nowhere.

As she checked Sehun's body left and right, she noticed his damp shirt and immediately thought about what had happened.

Finally satisfied and realising that the guy was fine, Haebin raised her head, looking at Sehun's tear-stained face. His eyes and nose were almost the same colour as the red traffic light.

"Haebin..." Sehun called out. The voice that came out of his mouth was weak.

Haebin frowned as a response, trying her best to hold back her tears. Watching her best friend who looked so vulnerable right now brought out the empathy in her.

Haebin wiped the tears that were still flowing down Sehun's face using her thumb and at the same time, she could feel his temperature rising.

"Hun, let's go home with me. I'll cook delicious food for you and then you can rest. Hm?" Sehun remained silent.

Without waiting for a reply from him, Haebin pulled his hand but stopped when he didn't move.

The girl sighed softly.

"Sehun..." She called.

"I-I saw Sooyoung. I-I'm not lying. Trust me, Haebin-ah." Sehun said, sobbing. His words made the girl's eyebrows raise in confusion.

However, just before Haebin could open her mouth to retort, the boy collapsed.
