"Why don't you want to go out?"
"Just because? Plus, it's more fun to rest at home." Haebin answered without looking at the person who asked.
Suddenly, a laugh was heard, making her frown in confusion.
"Why are you laughing?" She asked.
"You actually don't want to go out because it's Valentine's next week, right? You're annoyed by the gifts and chocolates being sold, right? I mean, I get it. You're single." Haebin rolled her eyes before quickly retorting.
"Are you talking to the mirror, Oh Sehun?" Her reply made the person, Sehun, immediately went silent.
"Ouch." He muttered, his hand was brought to his chest as he acted like he was hurt by her remark.
"Whatever. Haebin-ah," He suddenly moved closer to the girl.
"Let's go out. There are a lot of promotions these days. Let's go, hm?" He blinked his eyes and pouted his lips, acting adorable with all his might.
"No." Haebin deadpanned.
"Bin..."
"Ew, get lost." She shoved his face away. Haebin scooted to the side, getting away from Sehun who was now laughing.
The girl turned to look at his scrunched face.
Cute.
If only she had the courage to confess, she would have been kissing his presumably soft lips right now and there.
It had been a month since Sehun regained consciousness. Nothing really happened during the period, other than Sehun's decision to part ways with Sooyoung after the Sungjae incident.
He didn't hold any grudge against Sooyoung, that's for sure. He only did what he did because he no longer loved her.
Guess time can really do something to people. The former lovers hadn't seen each other for almost a month, so it wasn't very surprising if Sehun had a change of heart.
Sooyoung accepted Sehun's decision as it was, but that was after she apologised to Sehun many times even though the man said that he had forgiven her.
Haebin, on the other hand, became a witness to everything that happened.
"Hello, Earth to Haebin!" Sehun snapped his finger in front of the girl, pulling her back to reality.
"Come on." Haebin suddenly said.
"Huh?" Sehun tilted his head, confused.
"You said you want to go out. Let's go!" The girl got up from her seat and walked towards the bedroom to get ready while Sehun jumped excitedly.
After changing into warmer outfits, both of them went out of the house.
They arrived at the Han River after a few minutes of driving. Usually, there would be a small fair there in conjunction with Valentine's Day.
Haebin honestly didn't understand what was so great about Valentine's Day that such a thing was celebrated by a lot of people.
Maybe Valentine's is great for those who celebrate it.
Haebin unconsciously let out a sigh as she reflected on her life.
The two friends continued to walk around, looking for anything interesting.
Suddenly, Haebin's hand was pulled by Sehun and she got dragged into a canopy full of red and heart-shaped sweets.
"Bin, pick one." Sehun suddenly said.
