"Why are you keeping this man here? You could've just sent him back. He's not a five-year-old boy!" Haebin rolled her eyes as she chose to stay silent while Yerim's endless babble continued.
Although the girl didn't stop complaining, her hands were still busy squeezing the wet towel which she then placed on Sehun's forehead who was still asleep.
After the guy fainted yesterday, Haebin called Joohyun who happened to be outside with her boyfriend, Junmyeon. With their help, she decided to take Sehun home to take care of him.
Yes, Kim Yerim was never in the plan. The girl suddenly came knocking on Haebin's door without telling in advance.
Right after she saw Sehun lying on the bed in the guest room, Yerim wasted no time and immediately questioned Haebin. It's not that the girl didn't know who Sehun was, but Yerim was always the type who was less friendly with men.
"Sooyoung..." Both Haebin and Yerim turned their heads towards Sehun who was slowly opening his eyes.
"Sooyoung? Excuse me, your dear girlfriend doesn't even care about you—" Haebin immediately cut Yerim off by covering her mouth tightly.
Yerim shook her head aggressively to escape from the grip, but everyone knew that when it came to strength, no one could match Haebin's.
"Shut up." Haebin firmly said as her eyes looked at Sehun who was now awake. The boy seemed to be processing what was happening. He must have been surprised by Yerim's loud voice.
Haebin carefully released her grip on Yerim's mouth when the girl finally stopped resisting.
"What—"
"Just get out of this room first, and go watch TV or something. I'll come out later and prepare lunch using the ingredients you bought." Haebin cut Yerim off again before dragging her out of the room. She closed the door before turning back to face Sehun.
"Hun-ah," Haebin called softly.
Sehun blinked his eyes a few times to adjust to the lighting before he glanced at the girl.
Haebin took a sit on the edge of the bed, a small smile etched on her lips.
"How are you feeling?" Haebin asked. She didn't know since when she cared so much about Sehun, but now, she's really worried about his situation.
When will he move on?
"Sehun, are you alright? Is the pain that bad? Do you want me to take you to the hospital?" Haebin bombarded the guy with questions, but Sehun remained silent.
"What happened?" He finally spoke, asking her with a hoarse voice.
"You fainted when we met yesterday and your temperature was high, so I brought you to my house because it was closer than yours," Haebin explained in one breath.
Sehun nodded slightly.
"Who changed my clothes?" The reason was unclear, but Haebin could feel her face suddenly heated up. Gosh, Haebin! What are you thinking, huh?!
"J-junmyeon!" Haebin immediately answered, her voice cracked in the process.
"Junmyeon helped me yesterday." She said and looked away, trying to calm herself.
"Okay, I get it that he's the one that helped me change, but what are you getting flustered for? I'm just asking, right?" Haebin turned back at Sehun who was now smirking.
The girl hastily got up from the bed when she saw the expression on the guy's face.
"W-when was I flustered?" She ignored his statement before quickly leaving the room.
