"Yook Sungjae?" The name involuntarily slipped out of his mouth. Their eyes met for a moment, and that's when Sehun saw what he shouldn't have seen.

In his eyes, there's a glint of darkness.

Sehun didn't like it. He didn't like the way the guy in front of him was looking at him and the way his hands were wrapped around Sooyoung's waist.

He turned his gaze to the woman he dearly missed. Sooyoung was standing still, completely stiff and motionless.

Although her face wasn't directly facing him, he could never mistake the face that he had loved for years. He knew for sure that the one standing before him right now was definitely Park Sooyoung.

Joy? Bullsht.

Sehun turned to his back where Haebin was standing. The girl was pulling the hem of his shirt as if asking him to leave.

Sehun decided to follow her suggestion. Without saying anything to the couple in front of them, both of them made their way out of the store.

Sehun clicked his tongue in annoyance. He was expecting to release some stress at the mall, but the unexpected meeting earlier just added more pressure onto him.

"Hun?" They were already in the car when Haebin suddenly called out his name. Sehun was currently driving to the girl's apartment.

"Yes?" He replied monotonously, his eyes glued on the road.

"Are you okay?" Damn.

Sehun swore he felt alright until the question made his lips tremble. His brows furrowed as tears began to well up, but he tried his best to hold them back.

Unfortunately, it didn't work.

"Sehun-ah..." He heard Haebin's voice again, but this time there was sympathy in her tone, and the boy knew it was because of the clear liquid that was already slowly flowing down his cheeks.

"I'm not okay, Bin. Not even a little bit." He said, feeling the girl's hand on his thigh. She was gently patting him, giving him the comfort he needed.

Sehun glanced at her and gave her a dull smile before speeding towards their destination.

****

Sooyoung, Sooyoung, and Park Sooyoung.

Sehun roughly ruffled his hair. Ever since the accidental encounter with his girlfriend, he couldn't stop thinking about what he should do now.

He finally found Sooyoung again, so the thing he must do was obviously to get her favourite girl back.

But why did he feel like he was hesitating?

Most importantly, why didn't his heart react the same way it did the first time he met her?

Sehun missed Sooyoung. That was one thing that couldn't be denied.

But if it's true that he missed her so much to the point he cried almost every night after the disappearance of the girl, why didn't he feel excited when he finally got to see her face again?

Have I lost my love for her?

Sehun unconsciously slapped his face, mentally asking himself to stop thinking for a while as his mind was starting to get messy and his heart was being silly.

The boy rolled over on his soft comforter. His eyes stared at the empty ceiling while his ears listened to the sound of the air conditioner in his room.

"What do I do, Sooyoung?" His mind suddenly went back to the past, remembering the moment when she met a girl named Park Sooyoung for the first time.

"Minseok hyung, help me close the cafe. I have to go back to omma's house to get some things." Minseok hyung just nodded with a smile, allowing him to leave early that day.
