So... the day we go to Asgard. Bruce had asked Thor what he should take at least ten times that morning.
Now, however, we were being transported up to Asgard by the bifrost. I watched as the colours zoomed past me and stars twinkled but at the speed we were going, I wasn't given the chance to admire the space around us. Soon landing in Asgard.
A royally dressed man with horns greeted us, "Welcome to Asgard." His eyes were a stunning golden lake of honey and his gold armour glowed in the sunshine's ray. He held an exquisite sword clasped in both his hands and a bright smile to welcome us in. He was the typical imagery of a true god. He was an Asgardian warrior from head to toe. Thor had told me about his special abilities - he required less sleep than a bird, could see 100 leagues and could hear grass growing in the meadows.
"Heimdal!" Thor bellowed. Bruce and I shared a similar look although he looked a much paler, sickly colour - probably from the travel. "My friend! How have you been?!"
My attention drifted from the conversation to the approaching armoured man and the three horses which followed behind him. They strode in sync across the rainbow bridge before stopping only a few meters away from us. The horses were utterly majestic. One had braided hair, two wore armour (including the one the blonde man sat on) and the third had flowing golden hair.
"Thor! My prince!" The warrior called, interrupting Thors mostly one-sided conversation with Heimdall.
"Ah! Frandral!" Thors cheesy grin grew impossibly wider. "I see you're well?"
"Even better now that you're back, my friend." He gestures towards the horses, "Your father is awaiting our guests."
Thor proceeded to help me up onto the horse with braided mane, Bruce climbed onto the golden haired one and Thor onto the armoured horse. I assumed it was his personal horse as, before climbing upon it, he made sure to greet it with fuss and praise.
"There will be a feast held tonight! I'm sure you knew?" Frandal spoke as we turned our horses around.
I'd never rode a horse before so I just prayed it knew the way or would follow everyone else. So far, everything was going well.
"Yes, that is why I am back." Thor explained.
Dr Banner had been very quiet since we arrived but so had I. As I looked to him I could instantly recognise the awe in his expression as we set off across the rainbow bridge. Asgard was certainly something to gape at. There was gold everywhere and it shone so perfectly as the light hit it. Everything here seemed so much cleaner than back home, perfection was everywhere you looked. All it did was increase my nerves.
~~~ time skip :) ~~~
I stood, staring at myself in the mirror. Queen Frigga, Thors mother, had picked out a truly miraculous gown for me to wear at this feast. When Thor agreed to bring us back to Asgard with him, I hadn't expected this but I didn't plan on ever complaining.
Dr Banner came knocking on my door before entering after my words, "It's unlocked!"
"You look great." He said, waiting at the door for me to join him.
My hair was up in a plait that wrapped round at the back of my head into an elegant bun. Flowers were placed inside it by the maids who had insisted on helping me get ready.
My make up had been done so perfectly. Green eyeshadow sparkled under natural-looking false eyelashes with a perfect nude lip.
I looked like a completely different person which was probably for the best if I was to mingle with Asgardians. "So do you." I replied, walking towards the door then into the corridor together to go meet with Thor.
