After three weeks of preparing for the opera, it was finally the day to perform. (Y/n) was in her dressing room during the performance. She was ready with her costume on and her voice warmed up. She would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous. It was her first time to perform and sing at an opera after all.

"(Y/n)!" Raoul called. (Y/n) turned to the door and saw Raoul, Christine, and Meg rush to her.

Christine and Meg were both in costumes. Meg was part of the ballet and Christine was part of the singing. She didn't have a big role, but to Christine, having a small role isn't that bad. It was like a breath of relief to have a break from the main spotlight and it was honeslty nice to have a break from the spotlight every once in a while.

Raoul engulfed (Y/n) into a tight hug. "I was completely worried about you. I thought you were gone forever." Raoul said. (Y/n) was happy to hear that her brother had missed her.

"You're not hurt are you? Goodness, who knows what that Phantom could've done to you" Meg looked at (Y/n) with worry. She made sure she had no bruises, wounds, or any signs of pain.

When Raoul let go, Christine hugged her next. "Oh, I am so glad you are safe. I was frightened you would get hurt or worse". Christine let go of her and cupped her face with her hands. "I am so glad you unharmed".

"Thank you for worrying about me. All of you." (Y/n) said. "But I am alright. No harm was done".

"But the Phantom. He took you. Are you sure he didn't threaten you to act all completey fine. Blink twice if he's threatening you." Meg said.

"Meg, I am fine. Really. He did not hurt me." (Y/n) laughed.

"(Y/n), this serious. You were held hostage. You shouldn't be laughing." Raoul sighed then paused.

"Unless...it is true..that you consented in staying with him. Do you love him?" Raoul looked up at his sister. His eyes wishing she said 'No'.

"Yes" (Y/n) gave a straightforward answer.

Raoul was not expecting her answer.

"Yes? Yes!? Are you mad?!" Raoul shouted.

"Raoul, Please don't shout." (Y/n) shushed him.

"In love with a murderer? And a maniplulator? He killed Joseph Buquet. He made Christine believe he was her Angel of Music, the spirit of her late father. (Y/n), he cannot be trusted. He will only hurt you and fool you." Raoul was beyond furious.

"Do not act like you know him. You don't know him like I do. You do not understand him like I do. I love him and he loves me too." (Y/n) said back.

"Are you blind?! He is trying to deceive you. What could you possibily see in a horrible monster as him." Raoul scoffed.

"Do not speak of him in such a way." (Y/n) then sighed. "I am wasting my time arguing with you. We are in the middle of an opera and I would appreciate it if you do not speak of him in such an ill manner to me." (Y/n) then left her dressing room to wait by the wings.

"Raoul, please calm down. Fighting with her won't solve this" Christine held his arm. "Calm down".

Raoul took a breath in and exhaled. He repeated it twice before nodding. "Sorry, I...I'm just worried she will get hurt. I do not trust that man." Raoul said.

"I know, Raoul. I do not either. But if we get on her bad-side, we will never be able to reason with her." Christine said.

"Yes. You are right. I'll talk to her again later. I'll be on stand by with the police. He is for sure to come if (Y/n) is performing." Raoul gave Christine a quick kiss before leaving. Meg and Christine walked together to the wings to get ready to go on stage too.
