When the five of them arrived to Coney Island, they were taken to a hotel to stay. It wasn't fancy but it was fairly decent. Besides the "circus freaks" as Henry described. The de Chagny's and Whitlock's had their own separate rooms.

(Y/n) decided to visit the de Chagny's room. She did have to music lesson to teach the young boy after all.

"Aunt (Y/n)!" Gustave rushed and hugged his aunt. "Hello, dear." (Y/n) laughed. She really loved Gustave and his energy.

"Will you teach me music now?" Gustave asked.

"Why, of course." (Y/n) sat down at the piano that was in the room and began to play music.

"I'll be at the hotel bar if you need me. This dreadful town will be the absolute death of me." Henry scoffed and took his leave. (Y/n) sighed.

A knock was heard at the the door. Raoul openee it to see a doorman. He held out a letter to him. "Thank you" Raoul said then opened the letter.

"It's Mr. Hammerstein. He wants to meet me at the hotel bar. Alone." Raoul said as he looked at the letter.

"Well, he may lack courtesy, but he does show a certain savoir-faire in choosing a business rendezvous. I guess, I will be joining Henry as well." Raoul reached for his coat. Christine walked over to her husband and helped him put it on.

"Be careful, Darling." Christine said.

"I will" Raoul gave her a kiss before heading out.

"I'll prepare some tea for us two." Christine said to (Y/n). (Y/n) smiled and nodded. She continued to teach the young vicomte. She started with scale warm ups.

"We'll start with middle C. Sing Ah" (Y/n) sang at the note of middle C. Gustave copied.

"Very good!" (Y/n) then played the scale of C Major on middle C. She sang that melody and Gustave copied. This continued on for 10 more minutes. They started to practice songs for another 20 minutes.

"I believe that is it for now. Well done, Gustave." (Y/n) gave the boy a small ruffle at his hair. Gustave smiled before yawning.

"Why don't you go to bed, Gustave? It's been a busy day today." Christine spoke as she helped the boy off the piano chair and led him to the bedroom.

"Okay, Mother." He answered.

Christine walked back to (Y/n) when Gustave got ready for bed. "Here's your tea, my friend." She handed the tea cup to her.

"Thank you" She thanked.

The two sat together, talking and drinking their teas. Eventually, they finished the tea pot. Christine put away the tea pot and cups into the sink to wash later.

Suddenly, a music box in the room began to play. It appeared to be some kind of snow globe that was attatched to a music box. It played soft music. But somehow it felt familiar.

"That's weird. I didn't touch it." (Y/n) pointed out.

"Neither did I" Christine said. She looked up when she heard the balcony door open. Her eyes widened and fainted to the floor. (Y/n), who was seated facing her back to the balcony, had no idea why her best friend had fainted.

"Christine!" She hurried to her side but only to be beaten by a figure. A mysterious figure she had thought had been long gone and dead.

"You..." (Y/n) stood up from her crouched down position and slowly moved away. She couldn't look away from the man in the mask.

The masked man picked up Christine and layed her on a comfy chair.

"So it was all an empty lie." (Y/n) sang as she looked at the floor and back at him.
