Chapter 3

  Dallace's head shoots up as he look at my face. His eyes wide with surprise and sadness from my smile being gone.

"What!? No, no, no! A million times no! You're perfect! So so so perfect!" He shouts.

  I look at him with a bit of shock. So he didn't think I was unattractive... that's good news.

"Oh, well... may I ask why you looked so disappointed? I mean, you looked at me with happiness then it all faded away when you actually focused your eyes on me." I say in a whisper.

"Because... because you're way too good for me. I mean look at yourself, you look absolutely beautiful! You'd never settle for me. When I saw how gorgeous you were I knew I wasn't even close to being in your league. Just looking at you I knew you'd never choose me as someone you would wanna be with your entire life." Dallace says with hopelessness as his frown grows bigger.

  I continued to stare at Dallace, he quickly looks away and covers his face with his hands. Only then was when I noticed that he was blushing uncontrollably. My eyes light up with delight. How could they not? He looked so cute, I couldn't help but blush a bit myself from just how cute he looked.

"Dallace, I chose to come here and see you. Trust me, if I was out of your league I wouldn't have lost my temper with Ryan about it." I said with a chuckle.

"W-what? You and Ryan argued?" He asked as he looked up in shock.

"Yeah kinda, he was a bit skeptical about me going to see you. He said I should really consider that your a 10 on the yandere scale and-" I start to say.

"He said that!? I hate Ryan. How could he? Wanting to take you away from me!?- wait... no no! I'm so sorry, I don't know why I said that. I don't own you, I-I don't wanna make it seem like I do! Stupid stupid Dallace! Think about what your therapist said!" Dallace's eyes squeezed shut in anger from himself.

  I look at Dallace in distraught. He put his hands over his face again with embarrassment. Without a thought I reach for his hand and grab it, intwining it with mine. His hands were surprisingly soft, and... sweaty.

"Gah!" Dallace squeaks out when I touch him.

  He immediately looks at his hand and mine intwined. Then his face goes beat red. Dallace's lips are trembling and his eyes are very wide.

"Are you alright?" I say and turn my head a bit to my shoulder in confusion which only makes his trembling worse.

My eyes flicker a bit in realization. It was me who was causing this. I quickly let go of his hand and put mine back to my side.

"I-I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have held your hand so suddenly! I did it to try and comfort you not to make you uncomfortable I swear!" I say with a worried look on my face as I see Dallace's face drop into a frown once again.

"No, no don't apologize. Please, please hold my hand again. Please." Dallace pleads.

  I grabbed his hand and intertwined it with mine once again. His eyes filled with glee and his face got red again. I smiled softly at him and he smiled wide at me.

  We sat there for what felt like hours. For what I wish were hours, staring into each other's eyes. Until of course, Ryan knocked on the door and stepped inside.

  Me and Dallace turned to the door. Ryan instantly looked at the two of our hands together in confusion.

"So I'll take it you two got along well..." Ryan said disappointedly with a sigh.

"Yes, we got along very well." I said with a joyful smile as I turned to look at Dallace again.

"Are you... planning on taking him?" Ryan asks me, his eyes filled with hope.

"Yes, yes of course." I say.

"...Very well. Follow me back into my office to fill out paper work. Dallace, pack your things you'll be ready to go in a bit." Ryan says, his voice hushed and filled with disappointment and sadness.

  I nod as I let my hands go with Dallace as I see that he instinctively reached back for my hand but quickly stopped himself. I gave Dallace a reassuring smile, before I turned. I could see Dallace starring daggers at Ryan. I know why though, it was so clearly obvious Ryan was into me. I just hope I never have to to speak to him another time in my life.
