Chapter 6

  I woke up a few minutes before my alarm rang. I took this opportunity to turn it off before Dallace were to awaken to it. Dallace was still clinging onto me. I looked up at him and his face looked so peaceful as he slept. 

  This was the first morning with Dallace. Yet, the day before, we got so comfortable with each other. Speaking like we've been together for years. It all felt like a dream that I don't wanna awaken from.

  'I should get up, I have to get ready for work.' I thought to myself as put my hands over my face and sighed in dissatisfaction, I didn't want to get up from bed yet but I had to. Reluctantly, I tried getting up, but Dallace just clung onto me tighter, he was strong, even when he was sleeping.

  I was about to try again, then thought of Dallace. 'What would he think if I wasn't in bed by the time he woke up? The only option I have is to wake him up or else he'll wonder where I am I suppose.'

"Dally... dally!" I say his name a few times more, each time my voice getting a bit louder.

  Dally wakes up, startled. He looked tired, but once he saw me his eyes lit up.

"Hello N/N (nickname). How did you sleep?" He asks with his raspy morning voice.

"I slept well, you?" I ask.

"I slept amazingly, thanks to you. You really... really made my night."

"Aw, I'm glad to hear. Well, I just woke you up because I have to get up for work and I figured you might wonder where I was."

"Work..? Your gonna leave me?" He says, his voice cracking and his grip tightening quickly on my waist.

"Baby it's okay, I'm not leaving-"

"But you're going off to work! So you are leaving me. Darling don't lie to make me feel better because it won't. N/N just- just please, don't leave." He pleads desperately, not daring to loosen his grip at any moment.

"Dally let me finish! I was saying that I'm not leaving you because I work at home. I just have a online meeting to attend today."

"O-oh! I'm sorry darling I should have let you finished."

"It's alright, just loosen your grip on my waist please. I have to start getting ready."

"But darling, don't you wanna stay in bed with me? Even if it's just for a few more minutes?"

"Baby, I'm sorry but I can't."

"Well, what time do you have to be on your dumb meeting?"

"Dally, this meeting is important so don't call it dumb. And it starts at 11."

"Well it's barely 8, and you don't need a whole 3 hours to eat and get ready. So just stay in bed for awhile longer baby."

"Dally didn't I just say this meeting was important? There's gonna be important people I'm gonna be meeting for the first time and I need to make a good impression. So I'll gladly take all the extra time I can get."

"Really? You're gonna talk about wanting to impress other people right in front of me!? Right in front of your very own boyfriend??"

"Dally, don't be like that. I only want to impress them so they have a good impression on my work skills, so I can provide for us! Not for any reason your thinking of."

Dally sighs and says,"Alright darling, I trust you. But will you please stay with me, even if it's just for 5 minutes?"

"...Fine, I'll stay in bed, but only for 10 more minutes." I say reluctantly as Dallace smiles widely in happiness. "Don't get too comfortable with it Dally. I take work seriously alright?" I say with a playful smirk.

  Dally chuckles, he wastes no time pulling me closer to his chest. I smile to myself as I hear his peaceful breathing.

"Hey baby, can you go into the living room? I have my meeting in 10 minutes." I say to Dallace as I start to open up my laptop.

"Oh? Why would you want me to not be in the room darling?" He asks as he rolls over on the bed to watch me.

"Because the meeting will last about an hour and I don't think you'd willingly wanna stay silent for an hour." I turn to look at him as I speak.

"Well I can, and I will."

"You sure? I've told you this meeting is important, you're gonna have to be really silent."

"I know, and it's something I'm willing to have to deal with to be by your side darling." He smiles.

"That's sweet, but really, try to not make any noise alright?"

"I won't~"

I turn back to my computer as Dallace lays on his stomach, his head resting on his hands as he admires me. A minute passes and Dallace is chatting with me about his day. After a few more minutes the meeting starts and he goes silent.

After only 5 minutes he gets sad, he loves admiring you but when he is missing the opportunity to talk to you and hear your voice it's a terrible feeling to get rid of. So, to try and distract himself he goes and opens your social media, scrolling through all your instagram pictures.

He likes and comments on every single one, not missing the opportunity to look through the comments to see if any guy or girl commented anything even the slightest bit odd. He did find a few which he immediately stalked their account. And also adding their name to a list. He looked up to admire and see if you had finished yet.

Eventually he had looked through all of your instagram pictures. Now he really didn't know what else to do. It had been 57 minutes and he ran out of what to do.

He couldn't help it anymore, he had to at least be closer to you. He was only about 5 or 6 steps away, but being that far away from you for over an hour was heart breaking to Dallace.

Dallace got up, making sure your camera was off and your audio was muted before he went into view. Then hugged you from behind, you flinched from the sudden touch. When you looked up at him after realizing it was him he smiled.

"Hey darling~,are you almost finished with your boring meeting?" He asks.

"Not yet Dally, I'm sure it'll finish in less than 10 or so minutes. Be a bit patient alright?"

"Ugh, but I wanna speak with you~" he whines.

"You're talking to me now aren't you? And since we've spoken, you can go back to bed. I need to pay attention."

"But babe-"

Someone in the meeting asks a question to me and I push Dallace out of frame quickly. Then turn on my microphone to answer. You didn't push him violently but to Dallace it definitely felt like it.

Dallace stays silent as you speak but he looks at you with sadness. Then looks at your laptop as he stares down the man that called you.

'How dare he. How dare he even say Y/N's precious name in his disgusting mouth!? He doesn't have the right to ever do such a thing. Nobody but me has that right.' Dallace thinks in fury.

After you finished speaking you turned off your camera and muted yourself. You look back to Dallace, he was sitting on your bed with his head facing the floor. He looked up at you once he felt your eyes on him.

Before you could apologize or even open your mouth. He got up and walked out the door, closing it behind him. You wanted to get up and talk to him, but what if someone spoke to you again?
