Chapter 15

"...W-what..." I manage to stutter out before my eyes fill with tears.

How could this be? Dallace was... gone? Dead...? No, no it can't be. Newton is lying to my face!

"You're joking with me aren't you? This-this is all a stupid joke isn't it!? Tell me that it's a joke!" I spat at him, my voice cracking.

My throat was sore, I couldn't breathe properly. What was happening? Was Dallace really...?

"My beautiful Y/N, don't cry! I know you must be disappointed, as you wasted your precious time on such a horrible being. Which is why I made sure he was out of your life for good! You don't deserve someone such as him, you deserve me. The finest of the finest!" Newton say cheerfully.

"Do you expect me to be happy!?" I scream at Newton, my eyes filled with rage.

He-he got rid of Dallace? Of my precious Dallace? And he thinks he's going to get away with it!? No! He is going to pay for what he's done.

But what am I to do? I'm basically helpless without Dallace, cornered with someone a million times stronger and bigger than me. I have absolutely no chance of winning in a fight with him. Not that my abilities with physical combat was ever good anyway.

So I don't think about that option again. Instead, I think of a plan, something so clever yet so reckless, but it would require a specific victim. A victim that would have to be so very gullible to believe such acting that would be required in it. Which, I'm sure Newton is a perfectly fit for the role.

"Well, why wouldn't you be? You and me are finally going to be!-" Newton gets cut off.

His cut off is because of me. I swiftly wipe my tears, that were once streaming quickly down my face, onto my hands. I walk toward him quickly and get closer to his face, not wasting a second.

I have a huge smile plastered on my face. My eyes glowing with "delight" and "eagerness" as I stare at Newton. The two of our faces only inches away from each other.

"Be together! Like boyfriend and girlfriend!" I finish his sentence for him.

Newton's face brightens quickly. His eyes widen at the same time.

"H-honey I-... I mean I don't know what to say. Really, I'm just surprised... bewildered honestly. I knew you'd come around but, this quickly is just so, so... delightful!" Newton says joyfully.

Newton is smiling widely at me, just like I am doing to him. This made me feel guilty, absurd even. It was as if I was actually cheating on Dallace, but I wasn't of course. I would never even think to do that to him, especially with Newton. Besides this is to get Newton back for what he's done to Dallace. This part is just... necessary for the revenge part. I think, trying desperately to convince and comfort myself for my sudden actions.

"I'm glad you've gotten to your senses and realized I'm perfect for you, and not that idiot ex boyfriend of yours," Newton says making a disgusted facial expression. "But don't even think about him. He's out of your life for good. Besides, the only person you should even be thinking about, is me."

Hearing Newton's voice was insufferable. His possessiveness was disgusting, only Dallace could pull off something like this without making me want to barf. I didn't want to hear him speak badly of Dallace any longer aswell. I just can't stand it, especially since Newton was the one that...

"Anyway darling, would-" Newton starts to say.

"Don't call me darling. Dallace calls me th-!" I immediately stop myself.
