Dallace's POV

I quickly head to the cells that Oliver was held captive in after a quick discussion with my former worker's. But to my surprise, my phone had started to buzz. I hurriedly fumbled into my pockets for it. When I finally got to see the notification. I found that it was from my sweet, beloved Y/N.

Y/N MY DARLING 💞

Y/N MY DARLING 💞: Dallace, would you mind coming home?

ME: Yes of course my love. What's wrong? Are you hurt??
Read

I try to fathom some type of reasonable explanation but nothing in my mind seems to think rationally. Y/N must be in danger, or even worse, hurt.

"Jerry!" I call.

"Yes, Mr. Sayer?" Jerry, my assistant replied.

"I'm going home straight away, deal with Oliver will you?" I say as I scurry my way towards my car.

"Is this about Y/-" Jerry clears his throat. "Your darling?"

"Yes! Kill him immediately. I want nothing more to do with him!"

"Understood."

I quickly sped towards my car and hopped inside. Not caring for any other person on the road. As soon as I pulled into our driveway I raced to the door. I didn't bother taking off my shoes as I couldn't care less. I stumbled a lot from just trying to unlock every lock I had connected to Y/N's room.

I burst open the door to see Y/N lying on the floor. She was staring at the ceiling, not caring to notice me yet. She looked like an angel, beautifully lying there without a care in the world. I locked the door behind me and bent down to her level. Examining her for any profound injuries. But she didn't have a single scratch on her delicate body.

Y/N'S POV

I lay on the sturdy floor of my bedroom. Just staring at the ceiling for some type of comfort that would never reach me. I had mindless texted Dallace in a state of panic I had encountered. My cell phone still slightly in my loose grasp. That's what I get for not eating much at all these past days. I thought maybe water was sufficient but apparently it was not.

I hear swift footsteps coming toward me. The loud steps only painfully rang in my ears. Dallace fumbled with his keys as he manically tried to open my door. Once he stepped inside I was filled with relief. The presence of another person was enough to know I was going to be okay. I continued to stare at the ceiling. I'm not sure why, but it pained me to have Dallace see me in such a state.

"What's wrong my love?" Dallace whispers

"I..." I mutter before sitting up.

"Did you just want company? I-In the state you're in... would you, perhaps want...?"

Dallace looks at me longingly. He waited hopefully for me to say something. I could tell just by the look in his sorrowful eyes how worried he must have been for me. I must admit, that text was pretty misleading in so many ways. But, I just wanted... some company. That's pretty understandable. To want company, nothing else.
